Where are the tournament rules for "Battle mode: Attack/Defense"?

 

Issues:

1. I've heard that defenders running out the clock don't win in this type of tourney.

2. I've waited almost a week for an answer ....

Mande el siguiente ticket a el soporte de wargaming y me contestaron que debia colocarlo en esta seccion.

El ticket es este:

La verdad nose que pasó, estabamos en torneo 15v15, en la primera batalla nos agarro un lag a la mitad de nuestro equipo, donde los tanques hacian lo que querían y la torreta estaba "loca", todo esto sin tener mas de 230 ms, lo cual es normal para los jugadores latinos. En la segunda batalla lo mismo, la mitad de nuestro equipo con lagueos y warpeos, perdiendo el control total del tanque. Esto me ha pasado ami personalmente en batalla estandar, lo cual no era motivo de queja, pero en torneo la verdad es que no es agradable. Lo pueden ver bien en el replay que les voy a adjuntar. Espero respuestas o una explicación. El clan al cual pertenezco es [PAR-K]

Hello zombieyeti,

 

Rules for Attack / Defense:

 

Teams wins on attack if:

  • Kill all enemy tanks
  • Capture the base

 

Team wins on defense if:

  • Enemy fails to kill all tanks or capture the base before time runs out
  • If time runs out, the victory goes to the team on defense

Call to Arms - Champion Tournament:

 

Last week, 6/10/17, there were 7 groups, 5 teams per group except 2 groups had 6 teams.

This week, 6/17/17, there are 6 groups, 7 teams per group except 3 groups have 8 teams. 

 

I assume you can see the odds of winning a top 3 spot are much worse this week than last.

 

I have two questions:

1. Why did you make the teams bigger this week and make one less group? 

2. Do you expect teams to continue this tournament if the odds change this much from one week to the next?

The tournament was poorly set up, why was our team on defence for all games in the tournament?

 

I agree with the comments above, too many teams for the rewards, 4 teams should not be expected to go empty handed and bleed credits.

Maybe it was because of the number of teams in your group.
How many computers were there?

I noticed this too. Seems strange that they would have more teams sign up and thus decide to have fewer groups. Perhaps the accountants cut their virtual gold budget.

1. The tournament page has always stated that teams can play a maximum of 7 battles - which equals a maximum of 8 teams per group. This isn't the first time groups have had 8 teams rather than 6 teams.

2. Teams are welcome to join or not join. As stated above, the rules state that teams can play a maximum of 7 battles, and prizes were originally calculated based on groups of 8.

Gee, it's no wonder you can't fix the damn chat issues when you don't even have the competence to make a game mode that sticks one team to one side of the map.

So if it has been broken long enough, then Wargaming NA considers it fixed :sceptic:

 

This may come as a surprise but playing in a tournament where you have to defend 2 caps each game for 7 games in a row does not provide an equal chance.

 

I will withdraw our team for this weekend.

Terrible excuse again Dance. 

You chose to put the groups together that way, don't make it sound like it was out of your control. 

I have always felt you do not value your customers time and the money we spend on this game, this is a perfect example of you doing just that.

Seems that it would be smarter to make your customers happy rather than screw them every chance you can. 

Did you ever work for Comcast??
