Komarin wasn't all that bad after the remake.  They should have increased the size from 800 x 800 to 1000 x 1000

They should increase the size of all the maps to 1000x1000. But I suspect they don't because of server memory or possibly because a lot of players are running on sub standard PCs

I got wins on all of them on both sides. If I can do this anyone can.  Besides everyone gets both sides equally if the side assignment is truly random. The 'balance' issue is a 'red herring' from the Map Whining Stat Padders

Since you don't win often and contribute to a win even less often, your opinion on this matter might not be fully informed.  Balance was a real issue on these maps.

Most of those were removed due to either being imbalanced/biased to one side or the other, or didn't provide a lot of options for certain classes.

Ghost town was made specifically for league play and Great Wall is a console exclusive.

Dragon's Ridge was very limited for heavy/TD Playa and with physics caused all sorts of havoc.  I'd like it to come back as I found it hilariously fun.

Tsavo, one chooses a vehicle to play then gets a random map. Getting a map not conducive to the class chosen is part of the lottery. This point is no excuse to remove any map.

Also, as to the 'balance' on the 2 sides of a map - again, if the assignment to either side of a map is random a player gets both sides equally so any balance issue is a complete wash.

Ghost Town should be available in random battles on the PC as should Asia Great Wall.

I never had any complaints about Dragon Ridge even when driving a Churchill on it. Never saw any physics problems either. Agreed, the hilarity in DR was fun to see (including the whining in chat).

Besides, you can't even manage your own hit points in damage on the maps we have. New maps are only going to confuse you more.

Your post must contain a dig at the other players stats or it isnt a Hellfog post is it. Of course without great stats no can possibly comprehend anything about the intricate and complicated game of WoT. Huh just watching some highlights on the New England Pats game. I bet Bill Belichick knows more about the game of football than any Pro Bowl player in the NFL. I also bet he could not make the last slot of the practice squad of any NFL, CFL or NCAA team. He cant block, throw, run, tackle, pass well enough to even get on the field to get stats for Pro Bowl votes....Guess he doesnt know so much about football he cant execute he cant comprehend it right Hells???????????????????

Since most of your posts are based on the invalid assumption that stats equals knowledge you ARE not fully informed. Balance is off in so many areas of this game what brings out the Holy delete button on maps that despite being "unbalanced" provide what most real people play this game for its called entertainment.

Yes northwest was a great map. I whish they would make it clear why they are removed instead of poof they're gone next patch..

Wasn't it because one of the spawns could light and shoot the enemy almost instantly without fear of retaliation or something?

there are several maps that are similar in that respect. Tundra, ensk, and artic region are also very easy to get early lights. They should either limit the tiers or increase the size of some of the existing maps. Especially with the possibility of them introducing tier 9 and 10 light tanks

Tundra and Ensk are basically just playing the whole game lit. Artic runs a good chance of both scouts spotting the entire other team. I was under the impression the issue with North West was that only one team was getting all the lights, the other team had 0 chance.

Dude... This is a horrible example. Belichick is a football genius. I am not even personally a fan of his, but come on, he is a great football mind.

Not to take sides, but generally someone with more success at anything, typically understands the subject matter better than those with less of an accomplishment.

Sorry to tell but it does matter. You may not want it to matter but that doesn't change the fact that it does. When a player who clearly does not understand the game expresses opinions, it is perfectly acceptable to point out that they don't know what they are talking about.

By your logic, since some portions of the game are unbalanced, we should bring more  unbalanced maps? Think about that for a couple of minutes.

The spawn above the lumber mill gave you the ridge / hill which then made the mill a sniper fest. So the mid was never used. And the lower road was where the heavies fought in one corridor that split into two to drive up the hill. I think the complaint was that the entire middle of the map was never utilized. And as I write this, it sounds like I'm describing El Halouf, too.

A Great Wall map was added years ago, but only to the China server http://forum.worldof...to-asia-server/

There are a lot of maps that had many possibilities but often require some knowledge of good scouting locations and team work. There are locations on El Halouf like this as well. It's just unfortunate that WG can't or rather won't rework some of these maps. Many of my favourites are no longer in the game.

Due to player complaints and whine feast, those map have been removed.   We are left with maps that have a mirror image of each side.   If you look at the maps you listed (removed) each side was unique and not a mirror image, which in my opinion made them better and more fun to play.

All maps should be available to all tiers from 4 - 10.  Having to play the same handful of maps endlessly is kinda dumb.

Blah, Blah, Blah...Game has been out for 6 or so years so WG has no excuse for not having more new maps or fix old ones. I am getting a little tired of the same old, same old.
