Let me start off by saying I have never seen any lag of this sort since I started playing 3.5 years ago.

 

Right as the match starts, everyone on both teams (I confirmed by messaging someone on the other team) gets massive lag that lasts for 30-45 seconds. The ping at the upper left shows that my end is fine. Chat also worked during the lag event, but it doesn't seem to show that in the replay.

During this lag spike, tanks were drifting around, although it just shows tanks as stopped during the replay. After the spike, everything returns to normal.

The lag happens again a few minutes into the match, but it doesn't appear well in the replay.

You mean you haven't seen the "typical lag complaints" which have been posted on the forums for the past 2 weeks?.

 

This is just a normal world of tanks match now.

yeah that has happened to me a few times.  What I am getting lately is logging in and in the first match, no Map, no chat, no HUD, nothing, talk about a freaky way to play, have no idea where the bases are, etc, can't communicate.  THe only upside, my fps is out the roof likke over 120 lol

I have been getting massive lag spikes over this Holiday week and on the weekends. Anytime i see the server population around 30,000 plus on NA. I'm getting lag spikes of up to 400 ms in a game. That makes it hard to hit anything. That is when i get off world of tanks. Please invest in the servers. Something......... I don't like going into games with 73ms and jumping to 400ms on and off all game. I get tired of it. Do something WG.

I made a ticket asking for refund premium time due to the lag from 9.17 causing the game to be unplayable and they just blame my connection and tell me that they hope I understand. crap customer service

I've only ever had one bad one, most of the time it's just a hiccup that lasts a split second and even those are rare. However, I hear of complaints about bad lag in matches all the time so I doubt it's server side.

It's clear they've once again cut their data plan to the bone to save money. Warships is having the same issue as well.

Another morning of lag!!!!! Went from 80ms to start the match and had jumps up to 280-300ms on and off.... guess what that will do for game play? Please Fix these lag issues. People keep saying get ping plotter... guess what never had these issues before. WG please do something. If i can't play then i log off for the day. I have been logging off for the day a lot the past few weeks.......i know i have had better lag and not had issues. But it gets to a point where i just get off and stop playing.

They say to use Ping Plotter so you can identify if the issue is at the game server or on one of the hops along the way.
