I personally don't like the stun mechanic. There are better ways to balance SPGs on current metagame.

Give it up, the re-balancing they talked about is done.

They changed maps so babies have a place to hide, they decreased my cammo quotients, they added armor to tanks so kiddies will quit sniveling about being hurt.

The only thing left is the MM, 3 per team per battle.

 

The developers themselves have admitted it's broken.  Hence the move to fix it.

Agree, the stun mechanics will be miserable.  Additionally, it will provide little in the way of good game play feedback to arty players.  It's a dead end.

yes i cant wait to be stunlocked for 10 seconds by some neckbeard 1000 meters away who shot me 8 times and landed once due to RNG.

Be aware that I am not advocating arty (and yes I have played arty to win mission tanks). Like anyone else I do not like it being in a tank game. But I accept it for what it is and deal with it without hysterics. 

People who pull out the "WG says its broken" saw are simply chanting a mantra hyped by the hysterical hand wringers. That moot point does not fix it or make anyone correct about one of the 10,000 assertions posted in the forums.

  WG needs to remove it, but the backlash of screaming howlers about how much they get for the vehicles and crews would be something to behold. 

To your sniping comment, If WG really wanted to do something positive they would kick XVM out of the game and make all player stats confidential.

you shouldnt be able to see enemies names in a game at all, that way you cant track specific  people.

Since your stats in arty- games played to percentage of overall games 60%+ -  are so high, you must therefore be a King Neckbeard :teethhappy:  Just kidding!  I played arty also!

i played arty when i started because i like high damage guns so i was drawn to it.

 

didnt realize it was so cancerous until i started playing hte other classes.

That's how it goes for a lot of players, TDs are similar.  New players get owned in other classes so seek out something they can last longer in and sometimes make an impact in.  Most who continue to advance in skill come to the same conclusion.
