My friends are trying to use their 57 acre property to re-create a legit Malinovka map, we were thinking about a few other maps like Redshire or Komarin, but malinovka has the least buildings.
I am assuming this will be super expensive but its their own problem, I mean moving land & creating hills & cliffs, adding ponds will be a large bill. But what we need is a detailed blueprint/layout of the map from Wargaming cause we haven't bin successful in contacting wargaming about this.
Btw, checkout our thread on building a full scale tank, we had a hard time picking which tank and we finally decided to go with a full Scale Maus & E100, are they both have a lot of flat armor, No "ßüll$hit" we are legally building them in full scale with as many details included to realism, there is 4 of us working on this, we each have great welding experience, the armor will be a lot thinner for obvious reasons, for details: (http://forum.worldof...truction-ideas/)
After our Tanks or map is done we will post an official invitation to the property to come and check it out yourself, we are thinking of hosting future Wot simulator battles with small tanks (tier 5), might just build a dozen "M4 Sherman's Improved", as we have a lot of car/truck chassis from our automotive, and we are trying to find a good use for all the un-used car parts, & steel!
I won't disclose the property exact location as I was asked not to, but its in Sheboygan Co. Wisconsin. On a private property outside of Oostburg, WI.
We will try to post updates with picture on forums once we actually start the project(s)
here are some picture of where the Maus & E100 will be "born" at , we are working on treads/track links as of right now as its the going to be the main hardest part of this project, we will start with the maus.
to explain why the link is so short: its a half piece, we are doing a separate two foot links and we weld them together, that was just a lazy quick pic of it, the full width of the maus is 12 feet, and if you noticed, the treads are 2/3 of the maus's width, so were making the treads 4 feet wide. were gonna turn it into an "armored" RV/Camper, we plan on adding bunk beds in the engine compartment, since the engine were using is a lot smaller then original one.
