I signed up for the first wave, but was never accepted, hopefully this round I'll get to try it out.

So from what I see, guns are less accurate, lose more pen over distance, and the tier 10 heavy tank autoloaders are getting a buff?

WG, these aren't the things the game really needs, apart from the losing pen over distance. I would make it so TD's lose less pen over distance, that could be their 'special ability' since the camo after firing was removed. I think if this were changed, TD's could do effective fire at range, and mediums would stop being able to snipe everything at long range  which IMO would be a good change.

Yep. We need more RNG "randomness" to frustrate players even more and make them spend even more credits on missed shots.

 

Less accurate guns is not what this game needs.

 

Guns should be more accurate.

Especially at Tier 10, guns shouldn't be that inaccurate, if anything, they should be twice as accurate at Tier 10.

We could use some Kentucky windage in this game:  with a real gun, flaws exist but they are consistent. If a gun shoots low and to the left it will do so every shot, so you use Kentucky windage and aim slightly high and to the right to get a hit. You can't do that here as the misses go all over the place.

If they did that, I think an interesting piece of equipment for that should be something that allowed you to adjust your gun sight, to try and zero the gun back in.

 

So for example, let's say you've been in a heated battle, and you've fired almost all of your rounds in a T110E5, well, after that match, you've got to re-sight your gun because of heat "warping" the barrel, may sound stupid but, just throwing it out there.

This iteration's changes still sound completely retarded, worse RNG for shells, F****** GREAT WG 10/10

(conspiracy theory: they want to make it worse and drop the pen at range so that more gold rounds will be shot, costing more credits, requiring premium time)

 

How about we try a sandbox server where arty is just gone, all of them, see how the response is to that, I think it would be overwhelmingly positive

Barrels do warp, it's why they invented thermal sleeves, so you're right on.

So guess what people will do in e.g. T110E5... will they try to

a) calculate distance and roll a dice for AP lowroll pen at 350 meters

or

b) load HEAT that doesn't loase pen over distance

 

I know what I'll (have to) be doing if this change goes through... and it's gonna be expensive

If you all remember...they IMPROVED the targeting and shot algorithm to be MORE accurate back in like 7.5 or 8.1 or something.

 

That was when people were saying "fantastic my E100 was just turned into a long range sniper!!!"  You guys remember?  At one point we already had poor shot accuracy in terms of projectile flight and we all complained back then that to many shots were missing and rounds were not going where we wanted.  Remember...You would aim and shoot and would be like "what the heck, how did I miss?"  It was terrible and we were all getting sick of it...

 

It was the same time when they change the ARTY accuracy and made from like .65 on the T92 out to like .85 or something...it was to balance it all out so Arty couldn't snap shoot anyone.

 

Frustration from continuously missing shots all the time is not a way to increase play and to entice new players to stay...just my quick opinion without actually playing the new mechanic...I signed up...lets see if they add me.

OK children for those who can't see the writing on the wall.

 

1) AP/APCR rounds will lose more pen over distance. (standard ammo for most tanks)

2) HEAT rounds do not lose pen over distance. (PREMIUM ammo for a large majority of top tier tanks)

3) Firing dispersion is being increased AKA worse accuracy.

 

Hopefully that helps.  If you can't figure it out on your own you may want to stick with android games.
