The mobility nerf is fine this is definitely a needed nerf, but the reload nerf is too much.

I have never played any of the tanks beforehand and yea, the replacement in general is already a downgrade considering you are limited to having 350 turret degree rotation. 

I feel this tank yet again needs another replacement, having such a small profile and insanely strong gun makes it an easy glass cannon in the bush. 

if anything, seance TDs no longer benefit from losing camo when shooting, it should be the exact opposite. E.g; Larger barrel results to a more reduced camo due to the sound and barrel dispersion. 

 

Although this nerf was mostly to prevent the high frequency of toxicity, so at the moment i doubt they will make any major changes applying it.

Personally I wouldn't mind a reload nerf however 1.5s is far to much

Perhaps .5 would be more reasonable.

They really borked this one IMHO...

  1. They seriously hurt its ability to deal damage. (reload nerf, depression)
  2. They drastically reduced its ability to defend itself. (reverse speed, turning)
  3. They trashed its ability to hide from return fire. (reverse speed)
  4. They give it virtually no camo. (general lack of camo rating)
  5. They make it more difficult to run from/to battle. (engine nerf)

 

Each change in isolation is able to be dealt with, but when you put them all together, you're probably reducing this vehicles effectiveness by 20%-25%.  You took away our waffletracktor and gave us this, admittedly kind of fun, TD.  But with these changes, you really have screwed the pooch.  Please stop.

They're overnerfing it.  There will be little reason to grind past tier 8 of that line if these mega-nerfs go through.

so I guess none of u figured out that they nerfed the view range as well I think they dropped it 10 meters or more cause my lines in game and on test server are no where near the same

Yep, WG'ing is screwing the pooch on the Grille NERFs, it is going to make an already situational and map dependant TD practically worthless.  If they do proceed with the planned changes, it's only going to be matter of time before they have to go back and BUFF it in some way, more cammo, better turn handling, more HPs, etc.

Agree 100%. The Grille is all about the gun.

There is already a handful of reasons to stop grinding at the Borsig. Barely see the Waffle IV in game (i have 1 in my garage and still play it) and the Grille is going down the toilet with this "balance", if it can be called that way...

 

Want to balance the Grille? Cut down the top speed, increase the hull traverse, tweak the gun traverse, increase camo rating. It already has no armor and turns like a container ship. Depends all on the gun and they want to kill that too.
