These commercials are absolute garbage. Nothing in the game was even remotely close to being highlighted. I honestly can't even believe they would even attempt to advertise trash like this.

Shame there is no American M60A1 ingame to represent America.

"Hey, watch us promote this tank game in America! Sorry we don't have the M60A1 that should have been in the tech tree. Oh, that second US medium line? We just divert resources to make reward vehicles. Please buy more Gold so we can listen to the RU playerbase instead!"

Do keep in mind that there are no American devs working on the game. Everyone who actually makes the game is the RU devs.

I get that they're trying to be funny, but yeah, I don't expect any of those to show up many of the "best of" lists.

Bowl ads aren't cheap, right ?

I watched ALL your stuffs.

A tank crushed a house.

Something about Viagra ?

People will say "why are there tanks ?"

NO ONE will rewind the ads to find out what wonderful gaming company that was, and what game.

Piss poor, WG.

Whoever is responsible for THIS campaign needs to be relieved, or at least go to film school.

.

I just CAN'T believe the waste of resources on this crap.

WG should contact us OLD players to find out what WE liked, cause WE made the game great.

.

Lol at the people who don't understand advertising or thier target market.  This marketing strategy will do fine.

So many Negative Nancy's out there.

WG isnt making ads for YOU, the established geek gamer, the know-it-all forum nerd, the dweeb that spends hours everyday playing a f-----g game.  They are targeting 20-40 yr old, beer drinking males who perhaps have some cash to spend.

They are targeting this bunch during the Superbowl, the most costly advertising segment going.  Your average 30 second spot will cost $5,000,000.  WG isnt going to spend $30M on ads you dumb twats, they are going to show quick little blurb ads at a fraction of that, enough to peak enough interest to get these drunk, chip eating, beer-bellied monkeys to get their fat asses to the computer and visit the website.

Twits the lot of you are.

Super Bowl ads cost big money, but I am certain they are looking at a positive ROI for the $$$.  The ads were not all that bad.

I just wish they had one less ad and spent that money on more stable US servers and game fixes.

Super Bowl ads are made for all audiences. They also need to be memorable. What will people do when they remember an ad with a tank crushing a teeny house or a boner pill hot tub? People will use these images in their google search that night or the next morning with the results of World of Tanks. Also I think by advertising in the Super Bowl has got to be a big accomplishment for a game developer from the East and "making it" in the West. No need to flip out over these ads.

more useless and derogatory babble that shines my amazing personality

Last I checked, these videos won't appeal to anyone but 14 year olds who just learned their first 'Johnson' joke.

I tell you what's going to happen: people are going to see this commercial, pick up the game, see that the low tiers are absolutely terrible, then quit.

Not for Super Bowl ads and not for the target market.  It's a good strategy to have these 4 short commercials spread throughout the game.  WG didn't just spend millions on SB ads without testing them on the target audience first.

They are not targeting players who already play the game.  These ads will work.  Not on you, on the target market.

Wargaming could literally post a section of an "RNG-no comments" episode of the rng show, and get better quality AND more players to join than these ads will...

Make a video that shows game physics, graphics, and play style. Not commercials (as strike_witch_tomoko put it_  "vaguely related parody/comedy skits"

most of the commercials during superbowl can be considered comedy skits.  beside they are just commercials personally the reality tv one and the teeny house one made me laugh.  I can think of a few shows that could use a tank rolling through
