Good day,

I want to find out if there are any other people feeling the same about the personal reserve u receive.

I have a lot and don't often use them as it doesn't really seem to help, My suggestion is that instead of making them time based, to make them active for battles. what i mean is instead of 30 min make it 3 battles, instead om 1 hour 6-8 battles and so on.... The thing I have noticed and especially when playing arty is that your in game mostly 11 min - 15 min(in arty) so if u take into consideration the loading times of battles u only get on an hour based reserve about 3.5 battles out, with the .5 going into a battle with a reserve still active and coming out that it didn't give any extra's as it had expired while your in game.  It is kind of frustrating to me that in a way you lose out and that extra credits, crew xp and free xp does actually help especially the nice +200% or 300% one's.

Does anyone else feel the same way, and do u think it can work?

They actually have some that are for sale that are 50% XP and 50% credits for the first 10 wins, so they have that ability. But yes, Im not a fan of the time limit, sometimes find myself rushing battles due to the clock ticking

I share the same opinion as OP. WoWS have the flag system that I think is way superior than reserves. They should implement that instead.

I don't know if the time limit is -- what -- a bad option, though I think I might like some PRs that are like: 10 Battles in a HVY, where the only way the PR will work is if you activate it and then the next 10 battles you play in a HVY tank get whatever that PR provides.  Maybe 10 Battles is too many, I don't know.  That would be 150 total minutes potential time limit, which is 2 and a half hours.  So maybe 8 Battle and 4 Battle PRs (which would be similar to an Hour and a 2 Hour PR respectively by potential total time of the battles.)

Otherwise, a timer does provide an impetus to complete that a simple counter PR might not.  On the user end, this might be a nice change of pace -- to not feel the pressure of the clock ticking to get some sort of boost you can count on.  On the other hand, if you're having a bad day to some degree and you activate a Battle Count PR, it could go pretty quickly for you, too.  More so than if you were on an active timer, instead, so there's that.

I also think that the psychological 'pressure' one feels from a timer can be a positive incentive when properly put into perspective.  Consider how fast your play is at the very minute you decide -- maybe I should activate some PRs?  Have you been having fast battles and short exchanges, or have they been drawn out affairs with decent damage and effort?  Then you can decide which way or which kind of PR you activate.

What if you could *decide* HOW to run a PR?  A timed PR or a counter PR?  The PR you get is by default a timed one (1 Hour, 2 Hour, 3 Hour) or it converts to a battle count (5 Battles, 10 Battles, 15 Battles) PR if you select that option.

Reasons NOT to ask questions like this?  Folks like me who also design their own games.  Just some thoughts tossed out with regard to your OP.

Selected: Maybe.

They gave them to you for free.  there are a lot of things and people at WG to gripe about, this just makes you look silly.

I have been given way more than I'll ever use and as long as they keep them out in front of me that way I don't care how they count them.

The point is... it would not be better for WG.

Strongly disagree with OP. Let's say you get one shot by arty or lag causes you to uncontrollably drive into a lake, well there's one battle down. With time based reserves just go back into the garage and jump in another tank.

The thing I have noticed and especially when playing arty

Well there's your problem. You're camping the K line waiting for the battle to come to you. Tick tick tick. Same for TDs. When you activate a reserve you're now on a mission - play with a proper tank. I use a high tier medium or heavy. I also shoot more premium. Have trained up some crews real quick.

As a side note i noticed credit reserves are a bit rarer.

Especially now, x2 crew XP for groundhogs day on top of X2 crew XP for whatever else right now and then pop a 300% crew Xp booster. I was on my second perk on a fresh crew in like 15 games using prems and accelerated training

You paid money for something they give for free, and which I've accumulated HUNDREDS of at no payment, but I look silly?

Yup because I wanted the 100% xp boosters and 300% crew boosters. Also so I can support the game for poor people that whine about stupid crap.
