After how the Republican majority has comported itself since 2010, I think I'd be willing to give a majority comprised solely of chimpanzees a shot. The overall conduct wouldn't be any worse, and at least they wouldn't be actively behaving maliciously.

Given the details of each side's platform, I'll take gridlock over either one getting what they want.

And I still could have pulled it out if the Scharnhorst hadn't been killed by the carrier he was carrier-chasing like an idiot.

It would be an improvement on Trump because it would be random instead of malicious, and rotten heads of cabbage don't tweet!

 

Just got 5k base XP and completed level 1 ... had some bad games so it took an hour and 20 minutes.  I would have stopped at an hour but I still had a 50% xp booster going.  Good thing the only things I really want are at levels 2 and 3.  

 

Had a white-knuckle moment in the last game when I was hunting down arty in my Firefly and I was spotted by one of them in an open field.  EVASIVE MANEUVERS MR SULU!!!

Close, but thicker in parts compared to IRL. Turret front was 268mm (not 290), hull sides are 86mm (not 112), turret sides are 229mm (not 224). Turret rear is accurate (80mm), not sure if hull rear is accurate or not since I can't really find much of it online

At least Britain and France both independently reaching the same conclusion about the chemical attack taking place and who was to blame, and both taking part in the strikes, makes it harder (for those outside of Russia and Syria, at least) to interpret this as anything other than what it is.

The gun might be nice, if it survives closed testing and has decent soft stats, but I'm disappointed that it probably won't have a similar playstyle to the 430 II.  It's also ugly as sin, and its sides aren't almost completely covered by the suspension for extra spaced armor like almost all Russian tanks.

The thicker than historical thickness could be for only certain sections and not the whole turret front.

Aloha everyone! Quick question, has there ever been a case before in this game's history since CBT that we've gone two consecutive patches without *any* vehicle balance changes? 

I get that there were none in 1.0 since the focus of that patch was overhauling the entire graphics engine, and I get that the public test for 1.0.1 just started... but yo, what? WG just dumped shyte like the Object 268 V4 into the game and now it looks like they're not going to do ANY vehicle balance changes for at least six months afterwards? [assuming 1.0.2 actually has said balance changes and comes out around August].

Exactly, it seems so opposite in so many ways from the 430 II, it IS more similar to the 416 in play style though so I could see them making some changes to the 430 II in the same patch.  That wouldn't necessarily be the wrong move, as right now the 430 II has the same gun selection basically as a T-54 but has just slightly better armor (though harder to use due to the rear turret and limited traverse) so more differentiation there wouldn't be a bad thing if done well ( big if obviously).

RT says Russian air defenses didn't engage the cruise missiles:

So shooting down the incoming cruise missiles would have had a minimal chance of military escalation; for Russia to not do so, indicates they are absolutely terrified of any possibility of military escalation or conflict with the USA.

All the Russian talk of shooting down the missiles and attacking their launch platforms (planes/ships/subs)? They were totally bluffing, and Russia has proven it cannot be depended on to defend its allies/puppets against the US military and its allies.

 

 

Also, the claims of 'significant numbers of missiles shot down'? Likely false, given the age of Syrian air defences. Syria claims there were only 30 missiles fired at them, and that they shot down 1/3rd of those, when it was actually over 100 missiles.

At this point anything the Kremlin or the Assad regime says or claims or asserts, should be greeted with the response "Prove it".  

 

Even when they deny something they've been accused of, the burden of proof should be on them to disprove the accusation -- especially when their denials fit the pattern of cartoonish nonsense, such as the "False flag!  We're being set up!  This is a deliberate provocation by the British and Americans!" garbage about the attempted assassination or the chemical attacks in Syria.
