Alright whats the catch what or who did trump throw under the bus/sellout in order to get them to pause for 5 days.

That will likely be something we'll find out later.  Perhaps they know 5 days won't be long enough to collect and get the civilians out?

Yeah, one of the suggestions was for the 90mm M18 to be a premium. But that's with all the other positive changes to occur to the tree. Instead what we have is a butchered M18 Hellcat (that needs to turn as well as a fixed casemate because that is how a "TD" with a turret should perform) along with a medium as a TD at Tier 7 and heavies as TDs at Tiers 9 and 10.

So instead of a historically accurate M18 GMC that would play like a Type 64, we have a nerfed M18 Hellcat at Tier 6, a premium light with the 90mm at the same tier and WG is selling us the unnerfed M18 at Tier 7 which quite frankly would need buffs.

So yeah, typical WG BS and dodgy design choices.

True true. The number of crews would definitely need to be looked at. However I am not too fussed about what vehicle class they can use. It is not like WG would give us the bare minimum Quality of Life improvement of crews being able to use the vehicle they formerly crewed in the vehicle line. Even then I think it shouldn't even matter. With how arbitrary WG classifies vehicle class now, it shouldn't matter if the vehicle prior is of different class.

agree, what are they doing to the cat? Spadding it again in premium now? :(

So, it's coming out that China demanded that Adam Silver fire and discipline Daryl Morey.

Chinese officials (government and basketball league) are of course denying this.

Adam Silver has said "no way that's happening".

For starters, shows that the Chinese really don't understand how the NBA works... Morey doesn't work for the NBA, he works for the Rockets, and only the Rockets can fire him.  The NBA has the ability, though limited, to fine or suspend Morey, and that's it.

For being a big tough country, China has a remarkably thin skin.  Almost as thin as our President's.  I suppose it's too much to ask that China turn out to be hemophiliac as well as thin-skinned, though.

Betray?  More like temper, postpone, or moderate.

It might not sink in with someone like Warren or Sanders, but not everyone shares their vision for the country, not everyone wants what they're offering, not everyone is interested in getting all their needs from Mommy Government.

If that's the only way to get something done than that's the way it is...government is the ultimate insurer of society. It sure as hell isn't our trans-national business "community!"

The only legitimacy that this government has is bringing home the bacon and the claim that they made China great again...particularly when you have a maximum leader who seems to believe that the Red Guards are about to come back!

Beto O'Rourke is still at it with his spirited attempts to torpedo the Democrat's ship before it even leaves the harbor.  Last night he warned of "consequences" for people who don't willingly turn in their guns.

I said it before and said it again: Beto O'Rourke is the answer to a question that no one is asking!

The only way to get what done?

(Not that I agree that government is the "ultimate insurer" in the first place, any more than corporations are.  No one should trust either one to take care of them, neither one ever has or ever will give an F about people.)

The strike is also about pay for the support staff who make diddley squat considering the cost of living in Chicago, even less than the teachers.  A percentage increase of squat is still squat.  Do these homeowners want decent teachers for their kids or not?  Continuing to count on the altruism of those that want to teach is a race to the bottom.  They're also fighting for smaller class sizes, which improves their education as well.  At least the supposed serfs the author is getting melodramatic about can afford to own property.

Also, there's a bigger point to be made here.  Who wins when people who make 35k a year and people who make 85k a year squabble?  The people who make a hell of a lot more than either of those can even imagine having in their lifetimes, that's who.

Education, in general, has taken a battering over the last 20-30 years. Budgets have been cut consistently. Class sizes have grown. Teacher wages have stagnated. A teacher in my state is required to get a Master's Degree in education and effectively serve an apprenticeship before they can get their teaching certificate. They are highly trained and qualified before they are allowed to step in front of a classroom full of students on their own. I'm pretty sure that teachers in most states have similar qualification requirements. The fact that they get paid as little as they do considering the qualifications they hold is beyond the pale to me. That is also why many of them leave teaching. They can leverage their professional qualifications far more lucratively elsewhere.

Also, Unions represent ALL their members. Not just the few that are doing well. We have many of the same issues here with support staff being very poorly paid considering how important the work they do is. Unlike Chicago we are not legally allowed to strike in NYS. The whole Taylor law and all.
