Hey now. You got to look at it from his point of view. He just lost his job and is facing eviction in two months. Even worse, the cops are sitting there to press charges on him the second he's evicted. At this point, he's gotta be thinking "My life is shot, so everyone else can just burn in hell."

Orange Turkey trying desperately to make the vaccines about him.
"Don't give Biden credit, don't let him take credit, he failed totally on swine flu you know. The vaccines were me, I pushed the FDA harder than anyone has ever pushed, no one has ever seen anything like it."

I thought he was a duck. A Lame one.
Battetech table top game looks pretty good, although I have Titanicus to fill that mech itch now.
Probably the best screenshot I've taken in Assetto Corsa so far. Downside is the cars are rather meh in terms of drivability/grip.
There's something for everyone?

I don't think the terminology "They can't actually do that" is correct. The correct terminology is "They shouldn't be able to do that". Because it's obvious that they have decided that they can appoint their own electors.
The question we should be asking is: Is there any measures in place to prevent/deter the legislature from appointing their own electors?
So far, the courts aren't giving them any cover.
And in a way one of them has admitted that they have no legal role in picking electors directly, because he's said he's going to push legislation that would give the PA state leg back a role in picking electors.

Well they could do it, but it would be a violation of article 2 of the constitution and Congress would be required to uphold the the slate sent by the Governor. Atleast according to my understanding of the constitution.

The same Constitution that says the President can do whatever he wants?

While I get your meaning... it was only 24 of the 253 members of the PA leg that were even willing to put their names on it... and none of the leadership shows any indication that theyre giving it serious consideration (especially given that they only have 2 days to do so... and they havent scheduled anything relating to it). As far as it goes, despite the theatre being put on... most state law makers seem to understand the law and constitution better than the White House and the cheetos legal team...
