China may be oppressive, regressive, deceitful, and belligerent... but it doesn't have that vibe of delusional ineptitude that Putinist Russia gives off.

China also has a bit of a chip on their shoulder with regards to the whole Chinese products are 2nd or 3rd rate stigma so it's unlikely they'd be shopping a vaccine internationally if it didn't work.  From what I understand allegedly both of their candidates don't have quite the efficacy but don't need to be kept as cold.

Rudy tests positive for COVID.

Which means most of the other Trump attorneys should be in quarantine.

I wonder if any of the judges on their still-open lawsuits will refuse to hold hearings for two weeks...

So flirting with Borat's teen daughter, to the greatest landscaper next to a porn store in Philadelphia, to bleeding hair dye, to farting audibly in court, to this?  What a year.  What a legend.

Another example of how vapid GRR Martin's claims of being "more realistic" really are:

He's in the hospital now.

If he ends up dying, I wonder what sort of wild conspiracy garbage the hard-right blogowebs will come up with.

E:  the Arizona legislature has closed as a precaution after many members spent two days unmasked around Rudy.

Michigan's legislature may have to do the same, given that he demanded the people he was speaking with in a similar meeting take off their masks so he could hear them clearly.   And GA, too.

This is one of those "sounds too good to be true" things.

https://www.ucsf.edu...ine-within-days

Just a few doses of an experimental drug can reverse age-related declines in memory and mental flexibility in mice, according to a new study by UC San Francisco scientists. The drug, called ISRIB, has already been shown in laboratory studies to restore memory function months after traumatic brain injury (TBI), reverse cognitive impairments in Down Syndrome, prevent noise-related hearing loss, fight certain types of prostate cancer, and even enhance cognition in healthy animals.

In the new study, published Dec. 1, 2020, in the open-access journal eLife, researchers showed rapid restoration of youthful cognitive abilities in aged mice, accompanied by a rejuvenation of brain and immune cells that could help explain improvements in brain function.

If I were a member of the Michigan legislature, Rudy would be sued so goddamn hard for willful endangerment that he would wish he died from covid.

You'd have a stronger case than any of the garbage Rudy has been peddling the last 4 years.

That's not saying much, as Michigan resident and infamous doctor Jack Kevorkian had a stronger case than Rudy does.

Edit:  Trump reportedly considering a Nuremberg rally on January 20th at the same time as Biden's inauguration in an attempt to upstage the democratically-elected President of the United States.

One can only hope that the state police will be there to escort him to New York to stand trial after the rally.

Edit 2:  If I were Biden, I'd be calling up Trump and saying "Look you orange sh*tstain, you're going to be at that Inauguration and you're going to go through this whole charade of the peaceful transfer of power, or I swear to god, pardon or no, you're going to be running for President in 2024 from solitary confinement after being charged with treason.  Now if you do show up, and I highly recommend you do, I will pardon you and that'll be the end of it.  You can go on with your disgusting, miserable life for what few years you have left.  But if I even hear a peep of this conversation we're having get out, be it from your family, Rudy, or ANYONE else, I swear to God almighty that I will destroy you and your entire family.  And that's no malarkey."

You have failed in every possible way.

A Federal Judge in Michigan Says Sidney Powell's Election Fraud Claims Are 'Nothing but Speculation and Conjecture'  According to the ruling, the former Trump attorney also filed the wrong claims in the wrong court at the wrong time on behalf of the wrong plaintiffs.

No pardon, some things need consequences.

Hell, there's real concern from the career intel and security types that he can't be trusted to keep his mouth shut about classified information he's been exposed to during the last 4 years.

How tragic that the U.S. is a third world country that doesn't have $72 billion in floating arounds somewhere that it could spend on bailing out renters or something.
