Man the White House and Trump sure do hire alot of people with severe memory issues.

Not remembering means never having to say you're sorry.:B

Airsoft shotguns are nearly the same as snipers... pretty are just for looks. Although, you can fire multiple BBs at once with a shotgun.

As far as airsoft goes I am quite simplistic... I see these guys arguing about stats like that's what is going to make them better and then end up squealing when I catch them in the field with my reliable MP5 that they like to call [edited]and basic.

Did upgrade my MP5 so that I could fire as far as possible bc I got a really good aiming even when hipfiring and that was it.

The only one other upgrade I am thinking is to add ambidextrous safety. I get as much "kills" with both hands and often trade it around to minimise my exposure.

And talking about it... Just made an appointment for an eye test. Going lenses.

Some guys at tanks events this year offered me Eye and Jaw protections for Airsoft so I am getting that done. The Pray Mantis mask is sh!tty if you have long hair, it refuses to stay in place.

That last comment reminds me of an anecdote: There was a female grad student in my office who was in a recreationist unit, the 29th Foot, which was mostly populated by New Hampshiremen and Vermonters who enjoyed being the "heavies" at commemorations of the Boston Massacre (we're talking like ten years ago at this point).  Anyway, she was light infantry in the unit and at one fake battle was held to have gotten a kill at the same time her hair came loose from under her head gear and the wail went up from the victim: "I was shot by a girl!"

Combine that with the exaltation of victim status in modern American culture, and you have a heady brew of temptation for those sorts to paint themselves as the victims.

My thoughts on not rising above victimhood:

One, you're only making yourself a monument to your enemies.

Two, it makes it easier to rationalize your own evil.

At this point, I think it's less about removing Robert and more about taking the levers of power away from Grace. I think she really crossed a line when she started trying to push the 'Revolutionary/Guerrilla/Veteran' types out to secure her own position. AFAIK she had been a defacto co-ruler under some kind of  informal power sharing arrangement with the old guard types for awhile, but it looks like she decided she wanted more and pushed it too far. Robert himself probably hasn't been an active participant in politics in years.

But yeah, troops leaving their barracks and heading toward the capital with heavy equipment in tow. That means one of two things; A coup in the making, or maybe a parade. Who knows.

This does seem to relate to the trend whereas folks are prepared to put up with the Old Man Who Led the Revolution to the grave they aren't willing to put up with his wife or kids.

Just watched Mingles with Jingles... PMSL he had to tell.

About the plane story, I wanted to say Spitfire but Warspite came out instead. My brain finds a resemblance to their names bc of the "spit" part.  When I tried to fix such error Paul and Ed Francis were already in tears laughing. :hiding:

I know I won't heard the end of it.... but I was tipsy and wasn't even paying attention to their convo. My mind was frozen someplace else while they babbled about a game I don't really care much for. :teethhappy:

And talking about planes... Im about to soak the pieces of an F-86 in water and soap to take dust and oil from the factory and put it to dry and then will start painting it. Got everything that was necessary 3 weeks ago when going out with the Younger Laddie. :3

What makes this even funnier is that Portuguese military aviation used Spitfires; though it's probably harder to guess air arms that didn't use that machine!

I keep looking at the USS Kidd for floatybotes... I want it, but Im so terrible at DDs...

~~~
Anyway... made it to 277 power in destiny tonight... Cayde's stashes were good to me. Walked away with 2 legendary engrams and the Flashpoint emblem gave me Vigilance Wing... which I'll probably never use. Maybe one day I'll do a night fall and get more than 2 powerful engrams a week...
USS Kidd is a destroyer that hunts and kills other destroyers. More or less it is a tiny light cruiser with no citadel zones. It is a very not-destroyer like destroyer. I'd kind of put it in the same "container" as ships like USS Atlanta (kind of more destroyer like than cruiser like) and Scharnhorst. It has been dubbed something, but it does not fit the mold of that something. It is an awesome boat btw.
It sucks being the best player in a game, but still lose because of teammates:
Spoiler
Fortunately, last PvP in Destiny 2 for my hunter's weekly PvP milestone.
My Hunter (after milestones) is currently at 288, but if I put legendary mods on everything it'd be 292.
I think I'm gonna go do the Sturm and Drang missions next, then maybe MIDA again.
Put the legendary mods on your gear. It'll bump up the power level of your quest rewards.
This has been my general observation and opinion, and since I'm more aligned with the left these days (by virtue of being a moderate in an extremely right leaning time) I've noticed that the general PR playbook of the political right is to first be insufferable about everything for as long as possible, and then they immediately play the victim card when people get fed up with their nonsense and call them on it. Basically I liken it to somebody acting like a complete and total jackhole and then being surprised that people don't like jackholes and start crying "everyone is picking on me". The left has their own playbook of intolerance in the name of tolerance so they are no saints either. Being a moderate has its advantages. One of which is you get to observe the sheer hypocrisy of both sides.
Again, this is just been my general observation and opinion about things.
IIRC, legendary mods don't effect item and engram drop levels.
They do. Your raw max power score is what is used. All power counts.
edit: The only time that a legendary mods' power doesn't count is when you are using that item for infusion fuel. Then and only then is the legendary mod's power score ignored.
For Rita:
The reason I have Portuguese Cabbages planted are for this very specific dish altought...
You dont add the Linguica on the pan before the onions, they go at the end as they are just like a garnish.
That's not Linguica, he is speaking of "its delicious flavour", that sausage looks and tastes anemic, one of the worst he could have chosen. People should really look for the tones in chorizo, when I'm back home I will show a picture of what people should search for in a store for a proper chorizo, I dont expect anyone to get or find what we get in Portugal but there are plenty of close approximations in the stores.
WRONG CABBAGE! OMG WRONG CABBAGE! WHy whyyy..... T.T
Also he just cut the Cabbage in a retarded way... Where is his grandma to slap his head!  You lay the leafs on a surface and roll them tightly like a joint and then cut them finely, that's how you get the proper Cabbage texture that also makes Caldo Verde what it is!
Probably the only thing he is right, yes, its easy to overdo the salt but just cook an extra potato and mash it together with the rest and add a bit more water and its easily fixed!
Hmm... guides I'm reading say the 'base drop level' is 5 less than the 'base power level', which is average power level of best in slot items without legendary mod bonuses.
According to that math, my Hunter should have 286.75 base power level, and 281.75 base drop level, rounded up to 282... which is what I'm getting ingame.
Exotic quest rewards are supposed to be +18 of base drop level, so I should get the rewards at base power level of 300.
You want to get that as close to 305 (final power) as possible. Why spend more resources to get a 305 MIDA if you don't have to?
Yeah, its just that putting the legendary mods on all my gear was sucking up a lot of my resources when I was doing it the other day. So I've stopped putting them on everything, waiting until I get base power level 300 items before I use them again.
Basically you get the gear set you want to keep and just keep putting upgrades on that gear set. In my Titan's case the gear set he's using right now will get continuous power upgrades until he hits 305. I'm not planning on swapping pieces out. He has his "base set of kit" and I'll just add optional add-ons to it as I find them. More or less situational exotics and the like.
Sadly, the "act like an absolute and complete jerk and then play the victim / unique snowflake card when people tell you to knock it off" move is an internet classic as well.  We see threadcrappers drop in here and try it about every six months or so.
Latest just in... it takes over 4500 hours to unlock all the content in battlefront 2.
Or $2100
Its basically mobile app levels of F2P bullcrap in a game you pay £50 for.
Meanwhile I have played 21 hours in Heliborne and unlocked most of the US tree, and there is no option to buy your way through. Doesn't feel like £15 ($20) worth of content but it's a great concept.
I wonder if jingles has broached on the subject yet? I know he made a video about the previous battlefront game, which was basically successful because star wars. EA are really trying to milk the bus on this one, If anyone has any preorders I urge them to cancel before it's too late. Regardless of how much a star wars fan you are.
