We can hope so until the corporations win out like in Citizen/United case.

That wasn't corporations as such, that was just "big interests" in general, and based on erroneous conflation of money with speech.

In the case of a "passenger bill of rights", there's no complicating 1st Amendment / free speech issue for the airlines to fall back on.

Idiom -- http://www.dictionary.com/browse/idiom

Definition #5 is not common in American usage, but I wondered if Rita didn't mean "the Portuguese idiom" in that sense.

I mean PT-PT idiom indeed because the only books I could find online before were BR-PT.

Ahhhh!  That's super cool :)

Just remember that in regards to book shelves that if you build them they will fill!:)

To be honest, as soon we get a new bookshelf it will be full immediately. I'm a queen at space management and been slowly moving furniture around, got plenty of space available for shelves atm, its just a matter of buying them now.

I did tried to put shelves on the wall but these walls are made of titanium, couldn't drill into them.

Huh... i find it quite ridiculous that they wouldnt ship at all... its not like sending parcels through the EU has ever been that expensive for retailers. Seems strange they would only start now.

You must have persuaded them quite thouroughly ;)

Portugal is the land that time forgot... Once in awhile, I buy groceries from Portugal (another marvellous thing that just started happening recently!) and grocery items take about a month to reach me.

I only buy canned goods like proper Piri Piri sauce, jams, etc.

Also, buy lots of alcoholics beverages you can't get here like "Licor Beirao" and "Ginja"

Oh, and I too like the Portuguese blue soap... It's soap to handwash clothing. I got a proper wash machine -ofc- but there are clothing items I just like to do it by hand and I just love the soap smell, reminds me of my great grand mother, it's comforting.

Paul jokes with me because every time I open the PT groceries package it looks like we went back in time, the 1950s to be precise but I don't care.

Interestingly enough, on "Health and Beauty" department you can only find stuff for men, I'm thinking about buying a premium box for Paul during Christmas, he tends his beard and Its something I know he will like.

I started the launcher before I left for work and it started pulling a 10.6 gig download. Granted, it has been a while since I last played that game, so I don't know if that is the balance 2.0 patch on its own or the balance 2.0 patch + other stuff I hadn't downloaded yet. I'm planning on giving it a test drive when I get home tonight, so we'll see.

As far as I am aware, there wasn't any patches (or any large ones) at all for the last couple of months.

[edit]Hm... 11.7 gigs. I could download it but I will wait to see what people think of it before I bother with it.

Most Americans don't know "overseas" two-letter country codes, so they're going to have to derive what PT and BR mean from context.  Not sure about other countries, it's probably common knowledge inside of Europe.  Hell, I come across Americans who don't even know the two-letter codes for some American states...
"MI, MS, MO, MA, MN, MT, ME.... which one is which for the states beginning with M?"

Spoiler

Regarding "idiom" -- I linked to the definition because I'm not sure what meaning works out to "BR-PT idiom" and "PR-PR idiom".  The 5th definition listed is the closest.  But that's going to confuse a lot of people.

For example the word "Sports"

Portuguese of Portugal: Desporto

Portuguese of Brazil: Esporte

They also have slightly different grammar. They speak grammatically almost like the Spanish... ungrateful bastards... T.T

AH HA!

Brazil Portuguese, which has some Spanish influence and even a dash of German, versus Portugal Portuguese.

"Dialect", perhaps?

Casio watches are great. My watches for the last 10 over years had been Casios.

My thing for Casio comes from my grandfather, he has used them for decades. It sparked my attention when I visited my family last month and my younger brother was wearing a Casio watch my grandpa had given him.

A week? Do you live in the jungles of Cambodia?

Took me 50 minutes and it was downloading pretty slow for my connection. I only saw it get to 19mb/s. Steam downloads usually top out at 29mb/s for me.

I have 1.3 MB/s as a ceiling

Bah, conversion is annoying. Rainmeter tells me my peak speed is 166 kb/s

Always had a soft spot for the Casio Sport Watch line ... features almost beyond count, reliable, almost bullet proof and most importantly - affordable.  For everything but a dressy affair, the perfect watch for those on the go.  About the only thing it did not have (which would have been a game changer) would be true cell phone capability with video ala D1ck Tracy.  :D  ... but I'm sure that's on the way.

Damn that is pretty slow. My DSL from 15 years ago was faster than that.

Here's my current speed test
