Well they finally gave the Ram an HD model.  ;)

To bad it's armour is still incorrect.

But at least it no longer has that 0 armour hole around the gun

Is the pen marker on the front left corner of the hull? In such a position that that shot shouldnt have actually done anything to the tank?

Also... yea, you'll probably have HT-15 done no problem... I need to spam my Maus one day to see if I can finish HT15-3... with honors....

For example the word "Sports"

Portuguese of Portugal: Desporto

Portuguese of Brazil: Esporte

They also have slightly different grammar. They speak grammatically almost like the Spanish... ungrateful bastards... T.T

The late science fiction author Patricia Anthony was an acquaintance of mine and she noted that in teaching upper-class Portuguese kids she picked up their version of Portuguese (which I recall involving a lot of swallowed vowels (coming from Texas she already spoke some Spanish)), which Brazilians found amusing as all hell when she moved there.

Ran into an interesting bug with Modern WoT's launcher. For some reason it likes to bug out and send you to a different server than you normally play on. If you log in and wonder "wth happened to all of my stuff?!11!11!!" log out and make sure launcher is connecting you to the correct server. For some odd reason it decided to send me to EU without any prompting on my part.

I would agree it would probably be more fair to have 2-3 uses standard and +1 for prem.

And T29 is above average for sure, but not as OP as some recent Pay to Win tanks >_>

I also used to have REALLY bad stats in it as it was the tank i decided to learn the game in back in the day. plus i kept hearing how bad T32 was, which turned out to be overblown.

That said however, I dont understand still has such bad stats on that gun, as pretty much every other tank that goes up a tier with the same gun gets better stats. the 32 just... doesn't, and it has laughably bad accuracy for a gun that doesn't have exceptional alpha/pen.

The T29 was never OP or broken, and given some of the tanks added since, there's no way it's OP now.

Personally I would think the T29 is better off as a Tier 8 with the T32 as a Tier 8 bridge to the medium line. That way we can unfrack the 105mm.

It would be nice if we could have more random roadside armoured vehicle displays in the UK, they are either inaccessable on MOD property or privately owned privately and kept hidden in a shed or at the bottom of a field rusting away. Total waste.

Most public displays of armored vehicles in the US, based on my experience, are either at or in cooperation with the Veterans of Foreign Wars or American Legion posts/halls. Both of these organizations are Veterans' Associations.

Here's one near where I grew up that has a M60 out front that is in really good condition: https://www.google.c...!8i6656!6m1!1e1

EDIT3: The more I think about it... the more I think reusuable consumables were a mistake. They pretty much render tracking a non issue...

I said that when the feature was announced.  They don't keep you from getting perma-tracked, and they take all skill out of making people use consumables and deciding when to use them and on what in the case of small ones.  It's nice if you're the one who needs it later, but it sucks if you are counting on being able to track someone later on knowing they have used the consumable.  Personally, I played several battles and didn't have occasion to use one more than once.  I know it comes up, but it just hasn't been useful for me so far.

View PostSlayer_Jesse, on Apr 21 2017 - 00:19, said:

dunno about that, i still get prematracked pretty good even on tanks with repair crews. Although its just dumb that fire extinguishers are reusable. How often you you get 2 fires in 1 game?

That's actually the one consumable I would say could really use it.  Double fires are a painful way to die.  To a degree you can mitigate the need for repair kits and med kits, but once you're on fire, there is nothing you can do but burn.  It could happen to any tank in the game if the shooter knows where the fuel tanks are, but some tanks really do like to catch fire, like the FV215B.

Unless you have multiple people shooting at you a tracking shot is almost irrelevant now. Need to track that TD to get around him before his gun reloads? Nope, his kit just came off cooldown. Need to keep someone in place late game because you need your teams help? Nope, he has a kit that he can reuse infinitely. Maybe we need a charge system like WoWs also has where regular consumables are 'x' reuses and premium are 'x+1' reuses... maybe that would be the best balance?

And nice job... I imagine the T29 is pretty hard to mark, give lots of people probably play it... and its sorta... kinda a little bit broken in its tier... (and sort of also above it tier too).

I don't see a charge system being that beneficial.  As short as WoT's matches typically are, there is usually only one or two opportunities to use an additional consumable anyway.

I am pretty on board with the kit cooldowns.  Yes, I guess it is more likely someone will be able to repair track damage when you need to get around them..

I was driving my Leo last night and came out of a firefight with a dead driver, a damaged engine after using both kits.  Eventually I was able to fix both and help the team finish things off instead of being doomed to a horrible slow end of game.

Well, TGIF everyone :)  The office here is ordering in some Portuguese chicken (Rita, I have no idea how authentic it is) and fixings, and doing a beer run.  I hope they can actually find what I want this time.

I might visit the Queen's Own Rifles regimental museum this weekend.  It's in a tourist attraction called Casa Loma here in Toronto, the closest thing we have to a castle - it's a big castle-like mansion that gets used in some movies.  But $20 admission when I really just want to go to the regimental museum?  Boooo.

By contrast I went to the 48th Highlanders regiment when I had a half day off - that is located in the basement of St Andrew's Church.  I thought it was a really well put-together museum and I bought a DVD, "That Dileas Spirit", which combined narration and archival footage with lots of interviews with WW2 vets.  Really worth it.

I have a question.  On a T-34 tank, you can see the springs of the Christie suspension through slots in the side of the tank.  Were these springs painted any specific color, or were they left as natural metal?

If I had to guess the exposed bits would have been hit with whatever paint was slapped on the exterior of the tank.

It was my understanding the springs in christie suspension completely encased in the tubes they came in and as a result very difficult to access, not painted and just coated in grease.

However there are always exceptions to a rule, so it could be possible.

There's a thing about Portuguese...

The letter "H", if nothing to accompany it behind is a silent letter but when we speak in English, for some odd reason, hard a hard time pronouncing words like "air".  Most of the time we make it sound like "Hair". Its one of those things I'm aware of but still do it if not paying attention to this particular detail.
