In other news, there will always be those for whom the nanny state is never constricting enough.

"Highlights" -- states implementing random checkpoints to screen drivers without probable cause; a push for interlock devices in all cars.

The tighter a boa constrictor squeezes you, the more it loves you.

Not sure if I agree with the interlock device but I found the rest of proposals mentioned in the article acceptable. Random checkpoints on roads or areas say, where a number of accidents likely to have been caused by drunk drivers makes sense.

"You happen to be driving on this road at this time" is not sufficient probable cause.

Funny how all the bllsht in WOWS is so much less apparent in Co-op than it is in PvP modes.

Nobody is going to set up a check point at 2pm on a workday to check for drunk drivers. Let's say I was driving away from the downtown bar district at midnight on a Friday and got stopped, I would be slightly annoyed if I was stopped but understand why they wanted to know if I'm drunk or not.

Also, as roads are considered public infrastructure and drunk drivers are a public hazard; if you are driving on it, then the authorities can stop you to make sure you're not going to be a safety hazard.

I'm especially fascinated by how Don Cheeto does not appear to be aware that the Women's March is against him

He thinks they're celebrating a year of success brought to them by his administration.

It seems like more than just regular denial.  I have no idea how his staff controls his news intake, because he's constantly watching cable news coverage of himself.
