Good morning and merry Christmas everyone.

Goldenrinho thanks for the gift advice. He liked it very much. :3

His mom and I bought him the same exact book. Was a bit awkward bc he looked to me like "oh noes!".

I had bought and given it as an early gift weeks ago so that he had the time to read it tho bc it's quite of a thick book. Turns out he's been over it 3 times. :3

But yeah your advice saved me from award moment bc she offered him cufflinks. I had been pondering getting cufflinks and the same exact ones. Oh mah Gerd.

Glad he liked it.

It's not something people often think about before joining up, I'm sure it will see a lot of use, or not much at all if he wants to treasure it, you did engrave it after all.

What was the engraving btw? If you want to tell

Indeed.

For those who dont speak Irish (like me) or who are to lazy to go to Google Translate this is what it says:

"Happy Christmas And Awakening Rehearsal of T110"

Whether or not that is the intended meaning or not... I do not know.

Also, Nick, you should check your WoT email, I'm pretty sure I sent you some Christmas boxes for WoT.

Hmm. Not seeing anything. What date?

Google Translate apparently sucks at Irish.

December 15th. If you dont have an email, you should be able to go into the premium shop and have it pop up at the top of the screen.

And to be fair... Google translate sucks at many languages.

The main issue Google Translate has, is translating English into other languages and this is because English gas more structuring rules and more words with double meanings, than any other language in the world, making it extremely difficult for accurate translations; not to mention automated ones.

Merry Christmas everyone. Just two hours left of Christmas. I just want to say I love everyone. And I mean everyone. Avalon, you are a good person, you are a good person. Only thing I disagree with is just your views on certain things. That's it. I hope I can control my emotions better. But your views are not wrong. Neither is my views correct. I just see things as a perspective of a designer and as designers, we try to make sure it is not the product that does not create undesired results from those that use it.

I just wish for the best for the greatest country in the world where a good portion of my friends are.

Balancing around scarcity of resources is not nonsense. Scarcity is the key word here. Credits, at this point, are not scarce because they can be purchased with cash and by extension making something expensive to use isn't an effective deterrent anymore. That is why economic balance isn't working. An economy relies on some degree of scarcity to function.

edit: I recognize that economic balance is a delicate thing when it comes to a game. By and large that is how WG games function from a monetization standpoint. Getting people to pay for premium accounts, boosters, and other assets that allow them to progress through the game at a rate they want or are comfortable with.

Like I said, I don't really care if the player spamming gold at my tank is going broke in the process, he's still spamming gold at my tank.   The negative effect it has on my enjoyment of the game is the same regardless.

WoWS-related -- is the Amagi as much of a glass cannon as it's made out to be?
