**EDIT**

Thanks for the reply's  I miss understood the tiers.  The game says play within +3.  So we figured that it would be 4-7's.

So thanks for the help.

That is entirely your fault for platooning with someone outside of your tier.
There is even an in-game warning and detriment for doing a "fail-platoon" like you were doing.

Why are you platooning a tier four with a tier seven? That's your problem right there. If your platoon friend can't pick up a four quickly to grind with you, then he's really not helping you at all

EDIT:

ransdom question, were you expecting the tier seven to be dragged down to tier four?

When you play with that 7 you use it's battle tiers for match making. Thus you will be placed in a T7-T9 match.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with the very basics of this game before coming to complain about things you are warned in-game not to do.

Platooned tanks always go by the highest tier of platoon. A tier 3 platooned with a tier 8 will see MM of 8+/-2, meaning a maximum of 10, a minimum of 6. well outside of the +2 it would see normaly {Tier 5} exercise must be cautioned when playing lights, as of yet they still have +3 MM instead of the normal +2, and as such, a tier 5 light can see tier 8, where as any other tier 5 would see tier 7 maximum.
