Mr "Adhesive Colour'

Is our top heavy (VKB as shown below). He sits on base for a while, then finally rolls into city at 5 minute mark to get torn to shreds without firing a shot.

I guess he's botting his way to the new tier 10.

Keep on seeing him on my team and the opposition.

Why is this not shut down?

because the player, who is well known, who goes by the opposite of Slimey-blue+yellow-1-1 who is the worlds most obvious bot, who got account reset 2 weeks ago after bottong fir 30K games, and in that time now has 6K games again.

I didn't realize he was this much famous. Thanks for clearing that up.

He was pointed out to me a while back in game, and now I seem to see him everywhere..

Up to almost 7k games since his most recent reset. 7k games in 2 weeks...?

This is endorsed by WG.

You would actually be surprised how many "bots" actually PM you back when you ask if they are a bot.

<Shakes head sadly>

It's indeed a pity that WG makes players use code for such things.

The Player to whom you are referring, should have been banned long ago rather than the account simply reset.

They made a hue-and-cry about illegal mods - which has gone very quiet since it's inception - but apparently turn a blind eye to this.

It simply feels that they just do not care - merely 'bells and whistles' to appear that they are doing something.

Cheers

I think if whoever did it knew that that person was a bot and not just a baddie (The MAJORITY of their player base, the ones more likely to shell out some cash) they wouldn't have endorsed him. If it is true that he is a bot then he should definitely be removed.

I didn't realize I said he wasn't a bot? He probably is a bot, I'm just not going to say he is one because I haven't bothered to actually do any detective work.

Well I'm pretty sure they haven't banned him because he buys all the premium tanks that come out.

This guy generally is botting if you see him in his 112:

This guy I just found today. He actually plays his tier 10s:

I killed sticky twice today.  He was in a Defender and surprisingly he actually looked like he was playing the game.

Pretty unusual to run into one person so much.  I think if you pay some attention you will see how common he really is.

You will notice a common pattern among bots that if they have a lot of lower tier premiums or a tier 8 premium you will never see them banned because obviously in the eyes of wargaming they view them as potential customers who will spend more money on their bot accounts. In a odd sort of way a tier 8 premium is a get out of jail free pass for bot accounts.

That said I wouldn't go so far as to saw wargaming endorses botting but its quite obvious they're showing some favoritism towards bot accounts with premiums when you look at their average battles per day compared to when they signed up.

They will never remove premium tanks, account time or gold because a player is botting.

The punishment for botting is an account wipe.

Which leaves the premium tanks/time and any gold the account might have.

As you can see it's a vicious cycle that continues until that player decides to stop.
