How many of these posts are going to be made until WG recognizes the issue?!

Not sure posting to a Forum is going to see an immediate response.

However WarGaming has a dedicated topic  - http://forum.worldof...ad-this-thread/ - where they are asking users with lag follow some steps and then send in via a Support Ticket.

To quote -  We at Wargaming are just as interested in lowering the ping rates and reducing the packet loss as you are.  I suspect that they may have wished that they did not publish this.

If you have not already done so - I highly recommend you add your data to what appears to be be a growing tide ...

I think an overwhelming amount of Support Tickets about lag will commit more resources quickly especially if someone's bonus is tied to successful resolution of Support Tickets ....

No matter what I do my lag time is horrific.

Is it my ISP, PS4 or WOTs?

My response is at least 3 if not 4 seconds lagged.....

They will when the dollars stop coming in. Then they'll just fold up and move on. Like every other video game company before them. I just hit 280ms ping on the West server, usually 40 to 50ms. East has been unplayable for weeks.  Sad.

Wargaming wont fix the issue... its just like the contact list being broke for over 2 months and all they've done is made it worse.

I issues a ticket on this at the launch of 9.17.  Kept it up for a couple of months.  The last ticket I issued, they wanted me to start re-setting everything from my computer all the way to my IP and to edit my registry.  I finally passed their comments in front of a fellow at work and they confirmed what I was thinking.  It's smoke and mirrors.  I so do the ping trace for them and send it to them.  Waited for their response.  They immediately went after Hops 1 and 2 for blame.  Meanwhile I conducted an independent ping trace with independent software.  Hops outside my wall are to blame.  I can't do anything to them.  So my idea was confirmed.  Essentially they gave me enough information to screw up my registry to cause me to have to reinstall my OS and then perform a fresh download of WOT.  This in tern would clean up the complete load mess they have caused in the program file because of their monthly medaling with the game.

To top this all off, I get this crass, rude letter from support talking about my friend who is a 20 year PhD in the field.  I looked up the guy that wrote me the response.  He has less than 10 out of his BS and has not held a job more than 2 years.  One of the millennials that paints himself out to be the next Bill Gates and hasn't put in enough time to know s*** from shinola.

BTW, 9.19 is playing better on the West Coast, WOW and WOWP has had no problem.  East Coast Server is still complete crap.

However, I'm out of here.  Quitting the game after 6 years and beta testing it.  Not going to put money into a sinking ship that doesn't know the first rule of customer support and has lost it's way development.  Looking forward to the next armored shooter and see you guys there.

It's always WG's fault, isn't it?

You're SHILLTASTIC.

1000's of COMPLAINTS about recent LAG, PING SPIKES and PACKET LOSS.

Get real dude.. The "SHILL TRAIN" left the station a long time ago.

MY PING SPIKES (150-999) are disgusting lately when 8 months ago the game never fluttered above 40ms.

Don't get me wrong, I like the game.

Just today I got a FREE Gun Laying Drive, FREE Optics and a FREE T6 Premium T34 for simply playing through the PING SPIKES, INSANE RNG, MYSTIFYING MM and all the rest this month.

Really? That Thread is LOCKED and was started over 3 years ago.

It appears to us peons that WOT could give a rat's rear about the players in July of 2017.

wth. I have played for years with close to 40 ms lag, Yesterday night it was anywhere from 275 to 600 ms. I thought maybe just a glitch and left it till this morning and its stil around 300ms. Did several ping test all were good some were in the 30 ms area the highest reading I got was 65 ms. WG might of helped in the early stages of wot but I doubt they will now:(.

Have you run PingPlotter for at least 15 minutes and then send that file in a Support Ticket as requested by WarGaming?

For your convenience - https://na.wargaming...kb/articles/145

For me, IIRC with the exception of one time, the high packet loss/complete packet loss has occurred at an IP address between my iMac and the Wargaming NA server.  It may be the same in your case - PingPlotter will help determine that and if it is Wargaming they will request it.

If you find a significant drop in latency at any IP address [hop] prior to the last hop and the NA server you are connecting to then you will need to contact your ISP to see if they can re-route around that IP address.

If you find a significant drop in latency between the NA server you are connecting to and the next hop - then raise a Support Ticket.

The last 2 weeks I go 999 mid game and ALWAYS in the heat of a battle, and DEAD! That or I finally get into a game and it's started already and being shot at while still in cap waiting to get in... I'm on Fiber, NO other online games are experiencing this that I play. A COMPLETE piss off!

I have been 999 off and on for two weeks, I am on fiber, and NO other issues except on here.. I'm a networker, know networks and it's the Wargamming servers... Something is tying their processors up or something.

maybe if we are lucky the new sever will be a little better then the current ones ( not older then the dirt they sit on )

Keep in mind the game was made for a dual core  ( means badly needs a hardware upgrade )

Same here lag spikes are killing it. And it happens more often when I am engaging or making contact.

Ping shoots to 999 and holds for 4 or 5 seconds that way

I have sent in numerous support requests with all the the "little precious files" and tests they have you run. No issues on my end

Pingplotter showed no issues on my end.....but yet I get some stupid canned response from support

I will NEVER give WoT another penny. I am done buying their Premium Tanks, buying Gold, and buying Premium account.....done!
