I played US TDs up to the Hellcat and gave up on the line before I got the top gun.  Was not impressed with the line at all.

I've been playing the JPE100 line (currently at the JTiger) and I can't think of any TD in that line I didn't like.  I'm probably stopping at the JTiger, though.  Really enjoying that TD at the moment and with the incoming nerfs to JPE100, I think I'll stay with the JTiger.

Not sure if it's the gun depression, high pen and damage, or what.  But, I just have a lot more fun with the turretless TDs over the turreted ones.

Turreted TDs allow you to fire in any direction without breaking camo, but are often thinly armored and have larger profiles. Turret-less TDs are easier to flank. Oh, and the JP E100 line is awesome. I'm to the JP II and can't wait to get the JTiger.

Because most actual US TDs were turreted.....

i think its all of them?

we only made, what? 5 in total?

M9, M10, M18, M36... i cant think of any others.

the M3 was a halftrack, without a turret.  so not really a tank, but still a TD, so there is that one i guess.

the US just didnt see a point in making TDs. the M36 was mostly a open turret M4 with a 90mm. it was the last one we made i think.

My only issue with the JTiger is the mobility.  Loved the JPanther 2 because of that.  That being said, the JTiger is the 7th tank I ever Aced (and this is recently), and that was with the stock gun.

The Hellcat, with the 2nd gun, was actually my first Aced tank.  And I still hate that tank.  Granted, last time I played it was about 2 years ago when I was sub-2k games.  If I didn't have other tanks to grind, maybe I'll give it another shot.

So far, I'm liking the Swedish TDs, but I'm only at Tier 6 on that line.

I play TDs with turrets. I suck monkey balls at Turretless TDs, even the E25.
