fal·la·cy
ˈfaləsē/
noun: a mistaken belief, especially one based on unsound argument.
This is the argument premise i see often, that because not all shells are the same and some have different characteristics and are also more expensive that there is some inherent advantage that rich players have over free players. This is false. Premium shells of all types are available to everyone equally with absolutely no advantage to anyone. Worse and more pointedly premium tanks are available for free, further eroding an already ridiculous argument. Free does not equal easy, nobody said it would.

So, if you as a player are too lazy to grind credits in the tanks that may or may not be fun to play so as to purchase premium shells, then that is YOUR CHOICE. There was no requirement that 'available to everyone' meant 'easy for lazy or bad players'. However, this does NOT make the game 'pay to win' but rather 'play to win'. Please stop the nonsense about removing gold rounds, they're not 'gold' anymore. Please stop the nonsense about reducing alpha on certain shells, all shells are available to everyone equally.

Ignorance abounds, but its pissing the people off who work hard (both in game and out) to pay for all the freely available features of this game. stfu already.

Uh oh now you have done it - you used the term Pay 2 win. You will summon the dark lord Frumpster with that title.

In all seriousness I really hope he jumps on the thread. He is the greatest unintentional comedian on this forum.

I can spam gold as I wish and there's not a single thing anyone can do about it.

The pay2win claims are specious at best.  They stretch the definition of "pay", and "win" to make their points.

You wrote it exactly as it should be said. Using APCR is a choice anyone can make. All my tanks carry some APCR. Even my ISU-152 carries 2 rounds, just in case.

Anyway, it was fun reading this after a game I just played. Tier X game (I was in my ISU-152). One of our heavy Tier IX tanks was complaining that the enemy is shooting nothing but "gold" rounds at him. WTH. He has a Tier IX tank playing in a Tier X game. I don't think he spent enough time in the lower Tiers. sigh...

OP if you had any sense you would realize that only wallet warriors are capable of spamming gold every single game.  Because of money, they will never have to use inferior ammo that will ultimately result is lower performance.

Not only that, but some cash exclusive tanks are the best in role.   This is what normal people call "pay2win".  Buying advantages with cash. Pull your head out.

You don't pay 2 win in WOT, you pay to save time.

So there is no difference at all between someone with a standard account who has to ration the amount of premium ammo they use to break even and someone who pays for premium, buys gold, and has the ability to load 100% premium rounds and consumables? Ok.

Eh, it is slightly. Because people with a premium account can fire 50% more premium rounds per game, with the same net profit.

That's a little p2w. Doesn't bother me really, but it should be recognized for what it is.

Wallet warriors ensure you get to play the game for free.  You're welcome, friend.

No.  There's a difference between spending $60 - 100 on a game, and $500+.  Some players have even shamefully admitted to spending tens of thousands.

This is pay2win.  Just because its free2play does not mean you fuel the game for "free players" by shooting premium ammo.

You have a god-complex?

Spending money on a game does make it pay to win.  If that was the case all games would be pay to win...... which they are not.

I watch it.  It's pretty good.  And most decent players don't "spam" premium rounds, but will use them if necessary.
