I'm conflicted.  I'm so new to the community I hate to be reporting people - it is only a game after all - but this was pretty extreme.  I really don't know what I'm supposed to do...forget about it or report it.

Mittengard.  I'm in a Tier I tank and two platooning BT-2's on my team pushed me into some rubble at the start and repeatedly rammed me and even rolled up on top of me again and again after I was pinned.  Got 90% damage from ramming before they finally left to join the fight.  I sent a message asking why but no response.  Checked their records and they both have numerous Tier V's and some VII and VIII's as well.  Any ideas?

You do what works for you.    We don't really forget about it, do we.   So the major damage is done.   But do yourself a favor and don't share what you do because your actions will only set you up for more attention.

BTW, you're supposed to do what is right.    right?    Whatever you decide will be.

Not my style to rat people out like that but it was a pretty extreme curb stomping.  How do you get a video replay?

Ok then quit complaining when it happens to you again.

It's one thing to complain about it on a forum.  It's something else to drop a ticket on somebody and get them banned.

You're right but I wish I knew what I did to deserve it ... in their minds.  Clearly they targeted me for a reason.

No, it was simply because you exist and they are emotional children.

Im sorry to say, welcome to WOT, this is how they have it set up

If someone does team damage to you, forget it reports or replays, nothing will happen

Did you ever figure out the purpose and use for Blacklisting?

Someone else will probably be able to tell you more about it. As far as I was aware, it made it so the player could not chat with you or you could not see their chat in game. I guess it also alerts you when someone on your list is in a match with you?

try not to let it bother you too much. Im in a bit of a diff place because Im getting this crap happening almost daily with me, all good tho, time to move on, heading over to the EU

cheers and good luck

Like the previous poster said, Blacklisting prevents communication between you and the blacklisted.  You'll see your blacklisted players on the in-battle team lists regardless of side, but they won't see that you've blacklisted them.  You can blacklist a maximum of 1,000 players.

They probably have XVM and saw your ranking.   Back when I had voice chat turned on, that situation was the first time I was aware of the hate some experienced players have for newbies.   We 'hurt their chances' of winning battles.    A couple of them were raging about my presence.   One shot right in front of me and they both followed me as I moved out and thumped hard as soon as they got to me.   I was absolutely amazed.    I think it was that day, when I heard the same crap about there being 'two newbies', that I turned off the voice chat.    It taught me something.

I asked how they knew I was a newb and found out about XVM.

It really fits right into the mean streak that exists.

Well abusing me took them (and two of the best tanks) out of the battle for about 60 seconds.   Bottom line, they both got killed and the team lost anyway so it that's their motivation, it was pretty short sighted.  I read about voice chat abuse of newbies when I first joined 3 weeks ago and have never listened to the battle chat because of it.  I've got enough on my mind trying to learn the game and don't need the distractions.

BTW, I checked into reporting the offense and near as I can tell with the advent of the automated system, there is no longer a mechanism for reporting and submitting a replay after a battle.  I think you have to file your complaint immediately during the battle by accessing the player list options available on the screen or lose the opportunity forever (can't sit back and think about should I or shouldn't I like I did) so those guys skated on this one.

The TICKET system takes attached files.   It also has a list of reasons and being rammed by your team members is one of them.   WG appears to expect it to be reported.

Guys like that couldn't care less if they're not supporting their team while they're doing their best to reduce it's capabilities.  It's a shame we can't shame them in the forums.    In fact, it'd be fun to have threads just for replays in a COURT FORUM where everyone gets to vote guilty/innocent.   (No replay - no thread)

Of course I'm just skylarking that idea.   I'd be in the client having fun but after maybe a week of relatively honest matches WoT's design couldn't hold it's mean streak in and I got 8 in a row where 5 were stompings and the other 3 weren't close.   I got 6 kills out of it, but not much of what you'd call fun.  That was almost 20% of the total kills for my 'teams' in the rollovers.    It was time to go fly.   Only problem is it's raining.

OP, please read this post:  Use the Reporting System: It Works!

It can pretty well sum up the overall reasons why using the online tools available to us to aid in 'enforcing' decent behavior are in our own best interests.  Anyone else that might be remotely interested should also give a click.

Do the right thing my friend. Report those players before casualties increases and other new/newer players act like those basterds.
