So, some of you probably know that we've been doing a model building thread with the Chieftain, which has been going for a year now.

http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/487333-scale-model-group-build-anyone/

If anyone is interested in joining us, by all means come show off your work!

But back to the topic on hand.

I've finished my last project and it's time to pick a new one, I've been amassing kits over the last year and now I can't make up my mind which to build.

(The big box on the bottom is a Tiger II /w the Porsche turret)

I'll let this run for a few days, then pick the most suggested by the community.

If you haven't seen it already, find James May's Toy Box episode where he recreated an Airfix model of a Supermarine Spitfire, all of the plastic parts just like the original from his childhood . . . in 1:1 scale.

I don't know about Academy's M3 LEE, but Tamayai's is very good. Overall, it is an interesting tank to build. I built one a few decades ago. One day I'll post some pictures.

The Academy M3 Lee is very good, as it comes with an interior.

I like the Lee as a choice, but another person in that thread has built and is currently painting their M3 Lee.

Spoiler

M3 lee but kitbash it into a wh40k ork styled tank. Would be interesting to see what unique design you could come up with.

WAAAAAAAGH!

Finnish Stug ... and create an entire line of Finnish captured and modified equipment with it.  T-28, KV-1, BT-42...

If you pick the PZ 3 Cyber Hobby 6431 get ready to be aggravated with the slack adjusters in the rear of the tank.

After look at you impressive stash I would go with the Semovente M40-75/18 because it is the most unique.

Just an FYI, I do not believe that the Finnish Stug was a capture but was given/sold to the Finns.

A link below.

Not trying to be a dink here just some info from one model build to another.

A link to the Zev. Tiger 1 build from QDC.  I seem to remember he liked the kit.

Perhaps you can build both the Tamiya Pz.Kpfw. III L and the 2cm FlaK 38, and then replace the turret of the Pz.Kpfw. III L with the anti-aircraft gun? :v

That's the one that scares me, it's 1171 parts total.

That's a possibility, I have enough scrap plastic to bash a firing platform.

Wow, that would be a challenge and cool to see.

Yeah, I remember this one spanish guy did one of those DIY Arab BMP-1s with the turret replaced with the ZU-23-2, and it actually looked rather nice in the end (He used Trumpeter kits, so that definitely drained his wallet). I guess that's what really activated the almonds enough to suggest it.

Aye, and the result could be a potentially interesting looking tank that actually could-have-been.

Yes, but you will only use 250 not including the magic tracks.  That is because there are at least 6 different versions of the kit on the sprue's.  You will also have to remove plastic from parts and fill wholes in.

This is the 3.7 cm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6belwagen

But I could probably use the quad 20mm instead easy enough.
