Lately, I have been encountering numerous rerolled accounts. These are people that start new accounts just to try and improve their scores. This leads to an unfair advantage since their skill level is not reflected in the account.

I have also had trolls shoot me and intentionally push me into the enemy. You can report them but they just start up a new account.

My suggestion is all new accounts must play 250 Tier I games and 250 Tier II games before advancing.

I think this would reduce the number of rerolled accounts, make it harder on the trolls and increase the skill level of the noobs before they come into the higher games.

Anyone else have a better idea to control the abuse?

How would that reduce them?

1. That goes against the whole thing that WG reduced the modules in tier 1 and 2 because they don't want people to be there. You're suppose to advance rapidly up the ranks then stall around tier 5-6 and actually get to regular progression.

2. That doesn't help with staying there because then you're encouraging people to just seal club and pad against actual new players.

If rerolls, like me, played in tier 1 and 2 games for 500 games we would make the game experience for new players worse than it probably already is for them and they would be less likely to continue playing. And because people like you feel the need to use xvm to focus us in your artillery pieces, you become part of the problem. And rerolling reflects your current skill level if I had 1400 overall but 3k recents because I had 15k games would 1400 wn8 be indicative of my skill level either? Since mm is broken and doesn't consider skill this really is not a problem. Issues such as ridiculous server side lag should be WG's biggest concern not rerolls.

recent wn8 is more accurate than overall

all rerolls do is set recent to their overall.  and get screwed by arty

and pay more money to rebuild their account.

rerolls don't do anything negative to the game unless they brag about skill. in which case report em.

This'd actually detriment the communities newer low-tier population rather than help it..

your statement is completely backwards friend, a reroll account actually gives you an idea of how good the player is recently. your obviously using wn8 so just think of it as removing a players overall and just showing his recent.

Perhaps change what it is that you are focusing on while you play.  I don't seem to have this problem when I play.  I think I can safely say that such things have possibly occurred enough to bother me maybe 10 whole times in all my matches.  When I lay those 10 down beside the other 14,753 I just kind of go, "Wow, that's pretty insignificant, really.  Moving on."

That could work for you in this case and it doesn't require a single bit of program code!

Rerolls are indeed silly, but they usually buy high tier premiums (good for the game) and we don't want experienced players playing tier 1-2 for very long (bad for the game) so I don't think your idea fixes anything.

Rerolls are nothing more than insecure stat harlots.  It's like silicon boobs and makeup for your WOT career, looks good at first...but is totally fake.  Completely meaningless and a huge waste of time.  I blame XVM.

Wait a min, what does that even mean?match making is not based on skill's but only on tank's.You know it doesn't matter if someone is a reroll or playing there original account because the skill's are still there, you do realize that don't you? I mean you do right?how could you not it's common sense.

wow, i just looked at your profile OP. if anything is actually hurting this game its players like you that stay at low tiers seal clubbing and frustrating new players trying to learn the game.

you have 10k battles and nothing over a tier 5 and the tier 2 french tank (R2) is your most played with 4076 battles. CMON MAN!!!

"unfair advantage" lol

Now days anything better than red or oranges means getting focused by sky cancer and degenerate xvm snipers.

How is that?

If you have XVM WN8 installed you can clearly see what there true or recent WN8 is.

If you do not have XVM WN8 installed how do you know that they are  re-roll

I would would take a few more players with some skill in lower tiers or mid tiers. I see players with 30k plus battles in tier 5 tanks and still at below average stats at mid tiers. They are the ones usually whining about rerolls or being clubbed by t67s because they are seal clubbers themselves and getting clubbed by better seal clubbers. They really hate that.

your 250/250 games played would only encourage botting more than it already is.

Who cares if people reroll? Or have 10 accounts, as long as they don't use them to troll.

Maybe the reason you see a lot of rerolls is because you have 4k games in your R35

Just sayin

When you stop comparing yourself to everyone else, you'll be a lot happier.
