I read what you are all saying and I am going to respond to peolpe syaing I should play my light differently and use my guns more.

1. I do use the gun whenver its safe to do so.

2. WHY AM I PLAYING A LIGHT TANK THAN!? If I am going to run around shooting tanks than I should just pick a medium tank line, they are almost just as fast, get more armor, hp, and better guns. Thats the problem, light tanks often have to do a mediums tanks job which they cant do as well. I am not saying its impossible, you can do well, I did well in a himmels game on the vk light tank once. But it still feels like a needless handicap.

Now let's think about all the maps you can scout where heavies get mauled by TDs or artillery.

just suck it up and learn how to play.

/sigh

General concensus is that the OP is correct in his observation. Most maps are not conducive to true scouting. They were designed this way intentionally. I have also heard purples such as Zeven echo this sentiment.

Scouting's effectively dead, and WoT maps are too small to begin with.
