I have been working to get some of the older remodels to work in the ne HD formats. For some reason, I do not have permissions necessary to post links to my website. So I have done a couple of work arounds to get things working.  First is a way to my website.

www<dot>lotsastuff<dot>info/wot

Then from menu at top Skins then Modifications and Crewmembers

Include Hellcat (HD 3 versions), Jackson (SD 2 versions), T-14 (HD), M-6 (HD), M4A3E8, PzKw IVH, E-25, KV-85 and others, take a look.

Then I have posted images in a file on the Amazon cloud and a shared directory for the downloads.  These are mostly for some of the 0.9.18.0 remodels and do not require any scripts changes.  They are in the new wotmod format, so they are easier to install.

INSTALLATION:

  • Simple method: Copy/Move the <vehicle name>.wotmod file from the archive (zip) to the World of Tanks/mods/x.x.x folder, where x.x.x is current game version
  • Better method: Create a folder in the World of Tanks/mods/x.x.x folder, where x.x.x is current game version, named vehicles.  Then move the <vehicle name>.wotmod file from the archive (zip) into the that vehicles folder.  This keeps things a little more organized.

First is the image album.  Look it over and locate the modification you want.  Then go to the download directory to get that file.

The Easy 8 Thunderbolt skin is not working.  Neither is the T14 skin.

I'll check the downloads to make sure I didn't forget anything, but they are woking fine for me in-game...

T-14 is working, but Thunderbolt is crashing.  Will get it fixed, think I see the issues

Thunderbolt is now fixed, forgot some files in the upload.  Worked great on CT, but that's because its included in CT.  So added all necessary files to get it working in 0.9.17.1.

Let me know what issues you are having with T-14 and I'll check it out.

I had a question about an older skin for the M4 that you have posted on your site.  It's the remodel that changes the American M4 to the M4a2 from the training area, the download from your site doesn't work and I was wondering if it was because it wasn't updated for the HD update or if it was something else.  I love the M4 but there's no reskins or remodels for it that work anymore sadly.  I love the rest of your work and use just about all of your remodels and skins.

I'll check the download, should still be working.  Will post here when I have it right.  It works, but NOT in conjunction with teh Ram II as they duplicate files and the new wotmod format doesn't like that.

It was the scripts file.  I have corrected the download now and it is working.

Sweet!  Thank you a ton.  I love the M4 but the vanilla model is not the greatest.

I added/updated some mods today.

Cleaned up and corrected are the M4A3E8 as Fury, T14 with commander, and Ram-II as M4A2E3.

Added the M4 Sherman as M4A2E3 and one I call the Fury Cat which is an M36 Jackson replacement

All in wotmod format

These are now compatible with each other.

The download for the US Medium remodel pack on your site gives a 404 error.

Fixed a problem with some of the remodels that were not showing at a distance in teh game.  Forgot to include the lod1 and lod2 directories. That is corected and all uploads updated.

Also added 3 different versions of the M4 Sherman

You can also use the model files to remove LOD requirements.

Take the model files from the lod0 folder and remove the <extent> and <parent> nodes from the files.

Great tip, thanks for that.  Was wondering why some worked and others didn't.  I went the opposite way and added lod folders while deleting model files DUH! :-)

That also works but it increases file sizes. A model file is prefered especially for custom models since most modders don't bother to create actual LOD model but just copy the highest quality one to the other folders.
