I'd say averaging it out from all my tank this number would round to about 8.25. Since the average ammo capacity at tier 6+ is probably like 40 "pieces" (lol that's what WG calls as shells), I think that's pretty good. Excuse my chronic math minded disease.

Whats the average Premium ammo count for a " gold spammer" or "overdone" loadout?:bush:

depends on the tank and its basic pen.   lower pen for the tier, means more premium ammo.  decent pen means less.

no matter the tier, i keep enough to take out at least 1 top tier heavy tank.  so based upon the alpha, thats 5-15 shells.

Yeah I only have one tank that has 15 rounds and that's my t37. All the others have under 12

It depends on the tank and ammo capacity. My Cromwell has 20 apcr and 3 HE rounds with the rest being AP. My T67 has 30 ap and 15 apcr. Some tanks like high pen tds don't need a lot of gold to pen most tanks so I carry less on them. T54 lw I had 50% ap and 50% apcr rounds.

At least 10. Depends on how much ammo the tank has, but I dont think I have any tanks with less than 10.

I usually have about 10... unless it has a rather low ammo count. Then it's about 5 shells. That's not really getting into HEAT shells, since those are unreliable for me.

On average, 10 per tank.

Usually it's going to be 20%-25% of my tank's ammunition loadout, although it will vary on a tank-per-tank basis.  Something like the Lowe, I carry 33% Prem ammo not because I need it, but just because I can with the massive ammo capacity. On the other hand, something like a Russian medium, I'll only carry 3-5 rounds, since there's hardly a need for it. The BatChat 25t, I won't load any Prem because it's not only uneeded, but it has too low of an ammo capacity to afford the situational HEAT.

None, if I can help it though some guns are so pathetic that I have little choice. But usually, I'll only carry AP and HE.

I only carry a huge amount in T-34-3 and in E 100.  In the former I bring 18/18/4.  Maybe unnecessary but I like to be ready in either case.  I don't fret over it though because the tank makes so much silver that I recoup the losses without trouble.  E 100 is a lottle different.  I carry 21 HEAT and 10 HE.  Ironically, the only love I've received in garage is for using AP with it.  It's part of the game within a game that is this particular tank: strategizing which round to have ready for when your target arrives.  In reality full HEAT is unnecessary, I think.  AP is quite useful for gassing meds that don't think you will hit them on the move, and HE is also good in various situations.  It is a fun and versatile tank for being so slow.

Oh yeah I forgot.  I'm on AMX 13/75 rn.  The only thing I load is APCR.  Damb this thing.

I haven't fired a single "gold" round on this account.

I average about 10 APCR per tank. On a few fast firing tanks with low pen like the Matildas, KV-1, and Churchill III I have 20 APCR. Even on my ISU-152 I have 2 APCR, just in case.

I do try to limit my APCR usage because I want to make credits. So the less I actually shoot the better. But I want to have enough on hand.

I also carry HE on about every tank. When AP or APCR won't pen a hull down tank, HE can sometimes give critical hits and even damage. HE is very good against light tanks and arty plus is good for tracking. Sometimes when waiting in ambush I will have HE loaded to track a vehicle coming around a bend and then the next round is AP or APCR.

At least 8 rounds.  And, I use Premium Ammo 1st round, until exhausted, if XVM win/loss ratio shows between 45% & 55% chance of winning. (or, if I'm Tier XIII in a Tier X battle regardless of win chance).

I used to carry 10 rounds on T29 because I was seeing 90% tier 9 games.  But seeing the prem ammo was bouncing 60% of the time I went back to AP.  Funny thing was my Win8 increased when i went back to AP.  Subconsciously I think prem ammo made me a lazy aimer, and I got more satisfaction damaging high tier tanks with AP rounds.  Thats about the only time ive ever tried prem rounds.

Usually about 30-40% of the loadout is premium if apcr, a little less for HEAT. For team events and under gunned mid-tier premiums the loadouts increase. I do not like to be caught flat footed as a mid tier fighting upper tier vehicles and look at what is required if I have a chance to help carry a match (translation: at least enough to kill four tanks)

Usually 3-5 rounds or 1 clip of prem ammo, as that equals in credits about all the other ammo in the tank :/

Most of the time I never switch to it though, as it will instantly make that game a loss in credits, which I can't afford being non prem account.
