I wish I could go back in time to right before clicking "buy" on the JT 88 and kick myself out of my chair and buy the Lowe instead. Lol at the Liberte "bunching" above its weight. And wouldn't it be better to call this a top 5 tier 8 prem list instead? It's not like the Crom B , E 25, etc, fail horribly tier for tier in your criteria.

I fixed the spelling & grammar errors. :P

Yeah, I'll change the name of the Thread.

And yes, the Jg.Tig. 8,8cm was a very regrettable purchase for me as well. :(

I still prefer my Matilda BP overall. It's inexpensive and can be purchased through the game rather than giving out my private information by purchasing with a credit card. It's got great accuracy at range, I can tackle tier 7's without too many issues. It carries a good amount of ammunition and has decent armor for angling.

Honestly surprised you think the Liberte has good armor. It might have tons of frontal armor but the cupola weakness is crippling against players who know where to shoot and the sides can be HE penned by almost anything at tier.

Also surprised at the lack of mediums. Mutz and Mod 1 can do their fair share of credit grinding and are delightful. Mod 1, in particular, is quite powerful at same tier. Does fall off at tier X but so do all tier VIII's.

The thing is, Tier 8 mediums drop off very, very sharply against higher Tier tanks. They struggle greatly to be nearly as effective, which results in carrying matches, having fun and grinding Credits taking a big blow against Tier 10 tanks.

Every single tank I listed, I would feel fully comfortable in being able to do well and making good Credits, even in a Tier 10 battle - Personal favorite 2 for fighting higher Tier tanks would be the Lowe and the Liberte, but the Liberte does struggle with its side armor and sometimes cupola. Lowe on the other hand, I find Tier 10's bouncing comfortably off all parts of the hull and turret. IMO Lowe is one of the few that barely loses effectiveness when bottom Tier, if any.

But even the others, whether it be their great guns, armor or flexibility (Skorp G, Defender, Patriot for respective orders), can fully perform well against Tier 10 vehicles.

Lowe Love

skorp is probably the best prem tank in a t10 game.

As expected the Bias-6 and 112 didn't make the list, still wanting a little more dpm on my sLowe but it gives me hope for other old premiums getting some much needed love. I really hate my JT88 atm and the mobility is a kick in the face or the balls when you need get into a decent position early let alone keep up these days.

I'll take Scorpianys' word on it. I only have the Defender. I have no clue how the others play.

112 > Lowe

The buffs certainly did make the 112 a very nice tank to play. Combine that with Pref MM, and it can certainly be a great package.

However, the rather derpy nature of the gun alongside very lackluster AP penetration can make carrying battles & profiting from them, much harder than it is in some of the Premiums without Preferential MM.

Skorpian G is rubbish.  The only tank that makes me think the game is rigged to help bad players.  I can't hit anything with it, and what I hit I bounce.  Absolute terrible trash.

Best premiums are as follows.

TOG - Nothing more need be said.

Type-64 - Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

KV-5 - Underestimate it, I dare ya.

T-34-85M - The most ridiculous buff in WoT history.

Panther M10 - Death by a thousand stings.

The Skorpion G's gun handling can be a bit frustrating at times, although once you get used to how long the gun needs to aim in, the tank will begin pulling off some very spectacular results.

How about rating some others?  KV-5, Type 59 for examples.

I generally rate individual tanks in my tank review series, although those are on a one-by-one basis.

I am going to make more "mass rating" posts later in the future. I once tested this for Tier 1 vehicles, and people found it to be a good layout. I'll apply that same format to other Tiers, classes of vehicles, etc. in the future.

I agree with the purple text guy who said:

This topic had the effort, this is very nice.

Informative content regardless of what it tells."

As such, repped the OP - thanks. keep it up.

To me, t34 is clearly more comfortable to grind for credit.

Now comes the 252, it print credit also, but in another side it takes more responsibility for the team compare to T34 I sometimes just find somewhere in the mountain to flank.

Skopion G is also good, I just bought it and only played 2 games. Get avg 4k dmg, I know I only played 2 games the base is too small. But it is a good tank, only need to control the distance. The only pity is my crew is from JPZ E100 so that was a melee skill set which may not help skopion that much.

Also bought the pz.58 mutz last week. And just started grinding 3002m. It is decent, but clearly need high-skills crews. The penetration of the gun makes it easy to play with.

JT88 and Kv5, I would say thanks for the play and please retire. You two are not for this time, this era, whatever. JT88 was my first premium, and I choose it instead of type 59. Everytime I think about this I felt I was an idiot.
