What tank tree should I grind as I prefer mobile tanks with good guns and dpm and with good gun depression. An all rounder is nice.

The Pershing line is probably one that you would enjoy.

Well the russian meds are probably the best in all of that except gun depression, but honestly they don't really need it.

Russian Bias (select tanks) and American as everything else only has a few gems or has some real cancer grind wise with sub par performance in some tiers. Honestly go American though I feel that the tier 5 and 6 to be a little weak but the T20 is good, Pershing when the meta isn't balls deep hyper yolo is really good especially when working ridges and hull down. M46 Patton is on wotlabs regarded as one of the choice tanks for tier 9 padding if that interests you.

Gun depression and all-arounders, you just described the US medium line.

If you want an all rounder I would do the Americans or the Japanese mediums. If you want all of that except the gun depression you go for the SOVIETS! Oh Russian Bias, you so silly.

My assessment of upper tier mediums by nation:

US (Pershing/Patton line):

- In general they have:

- Great gun depression and view range.

- Decent to good gun handling.

- Decent to good alpha.

- I don't like the T20 due to its horrendous DPM, the Pershing a solid tank - just a little on the slow side, I'm stuck on the M46.

Brits:

- A complete mixed bag, but meet most of your criteria

- Crommie is a go-kart, Comet a medium speed med with amazing depression and DPM, The/ Cent is... the Cent - great DPM, decent turret, meh alpha, but slow. The Cent 7/1 is also slow, but with an excellent gun for its tier (save DPM). The Cent AX is a good all around tank, but not great at anything. Not fast, but not slow. Pretty good DPM and gun handling. Good depression, and a turret that can bounce things every once in a while.

- I still have the Comet, Cent 7/1 and AX in my garage and crewed. I don't play the 7/1 much, but the Comet gets a fair amount of attention.

Germans (Leopard line):

- Another mixed bag.

- With the buff to the short 88, the 3002 D is a great tank if you carry a fair amount of gold - perhaps now the best tier 7 medium. Decent gun depression, amazing DPM/alpha combo and solid handling. It is also quite agile. I love it.

- The Indien Panzer isn't bad. Sort of like a lot of the 90mm-armed premiums out there (Mutz, STA-2). Decently mobile, good gun handling, accuracy and depression.

- I really like the Leopard PTA. Not awesome depression, but better after the recent buff. I absolutely love the gun, speed, agility, accuracy. Armor is crap.

- I have ~70% win rate in the PTA and <50% in the tier 10 Leopard. I suck in the tier 10.

- I enjoyed the line.

Germans (E50 line):

- Not a fan of a lot of this line and they don't really meet your criteria.

- I love the E-50 with the new 88, though.

French:

- The BatChats don't really meet your criteria, but sure are fun to play.

- The AMX 30s meet your needs. I like the 30, but don't have the 30B yet so can't comment.

Japanese:

- Hate pretty much everything pre-tier 8. Even the 8 is meh.

- The 61 has great gun handling, depression, etc., but is a little slow.

- I'm not a fan of the STB. So much of the tank is great, but the gun handling hurts it badly.

Czech:

- Forget everything except the 9 and 10, which are amazing. As such, not a great line to grind because it is painful.

Chinese:

- Not what you want, but not a bad line.

Russians:

- Limited depression, but pretty much every tank is good (though I don't like the T-43 or A-44)

Another vote for the frightful Americans; the Pershing is glorious, for a start...

The M7 is the best tier 5 medium/scout tank. It looks adorable, has trolly rounded armor, goes super fast, and shoots super fast. It's like the russian T-34, but better in basically every way.

Did I read somewhere that the M7 was going to be re-categorised as a Light in the forthcoming update?

Try the Brits, tiers 6, 7, 9 and 10 fit your requirements. Getting to those tiers is also fun, as Brit light tanks are great fun.

Cromwell and Comet are a perfect fit for your requirement, 7/1 and Action X are not as fast, but they do have a awesome gun.
