The comparison tool isnt working right. Sometimes values 'stick' from earlier views when tanks are swapped, so you see old values. Also, if you try to Configure a tank (make it elite to compare with one you own) then the configuration doesnt stick either, it reverts to stock. I suggest it would be easier to have a 'Elite' vs 'Stock' option, unless the current one could be made to work

 

...AND YES, "LEAVING THE XP BEHIND" AT TIER 8 IS VERY ANNOYING

Is this for real? I hope im reading this incorrectly.... So the 130K xp ive earned on my T49 at tier 8 so far will stay at tier 8 once the T49 moves to tier 9? Am i wrong? Is this some sort of stupid joke by some smarta$$?

And I get a forum warning for a Shirley Temple meme over the Mutant. Go figure 

 

 

Anyway - arty aiming looks pretty good. Maybe tweak the reload time a bit faster. Like the built in Battle Assistant sight. Not many credits are made on a average game though. I cant see me playing it ever again.

XP stuck at tier 8 seems a bit much.

I think they made an announcement about that a while ago saying that they're leaving it as is because they gave it the 12,8 cm to differentiate it from the VK 72.01 K which has the 15 cm, I could be wrong though

Feedback on Artillery, It does not have enough damage! It did not get enough of a reload buff or accuracy buff! The shells are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the damage they are not doing any more! Artillery SUCKS! Stun damage is little to nothing still. Please fix artillery or it will die!

This is crap on so many levels.  First, it is inconsistent with the way WG has handled tanks moving up a tier previously.  For example, when they moved AMX 12t from tier 5 to tier 6, the XP stayed on the AMX12t, it was not put on the new tier 5.  WG has removed that page from the update notes for 7.5, but the page stating this is still available at

Also inconsistent with the way WG handled this exact issue when they changed arty trees in 8.6 update:

"All existing camouflages, accumulated experience, crew members, vehicle battle statistics will remain on the specific vehicles, despite these vehicles changing tier." (source http://worldoftanks....ersion_Changes/)

 

Second, it just flat defies logic.  XP earned on the Ru251, AMX 13-90, T54 ltwt and T49 should STAY on those tanks, not be moved to the NEW tanks inserted at tier 8.  (How can one already have XP on a tank they have never played?  What good is that XP, when the next tank in the tree is already researched?)

 

Since this is a change in the way WG has handled this exact situation in the past, I suppose the only conclusion we can draw is that it is way to "encourage" us to buy gold to convert this now useless XP into free XP.  Another WG money grab.

Uh, no. That's not how the test server works. You get a truckload of free XP and gold on it to test out the new additions to the game. We can't because there isn't any.

Is there a reason the enemy team should get to see how long the duration of a stun lasts?  Isn't this akin to letting everybody see if a module is damaged?  I think that the stun indicator should be hidden to anyone except the player who received it.  If you want to see other peoples' stun duration then you should add it to the Eagle Eye perk instead of making it automatic for everybody.  There should be a tactical advantage to keeping the enemy guessing whether or not you are stunned or have used your last repair kit, etc.

So what you are saying is that now we will have to pay MORE gold to put camo back on the tank that had already been painted in the first place?  At the very least you should refund us the gold cost of camo for the new tier of the tank so that so we can put paint back on the tanks we enjoy without taking a net loss in gold funds.  

 

 

I am also concerned that having large repair/med kits being reusable on a 60 second cooldown is a bit overpowered.  Everyone will just be fully healed/repaired every minute of the game and it makes critical hits less...well....critical.

1. Remove the stun mechanics.

2. Nerf arty accuracy because they are too accurate now.

3. Tier 10 light tanks are too fast.

I also have the issue with my LT crews not correctly transferring up the tree with the the T8 tanks.

My lttb and bulldog worked fine but the 13 90 and 54 lwt crews have been retrained for the t8 tanks of their respective lines. I now have two crews for the lttb.

I also noticed that I've been given the BC 12t but not the other replacement tanks. ie, the M41 moves up a tier but the T71 which has replaced it is not in my garage. same story with the LTG t7 Russian light.

but the 13 90 has been moved up and the BC 12t replaces it and is added to my garage.

I'm not complaining about getting(or not getting) free tanks, I just want to point out an inconsistency with application of this update. I'm not sure if this is an oversight or is intentional.

Ok, this whole arty stun thing is NOT cool in my opinion, i would rather be 1 hit killed by an arty than stunned.  This would make the game really bad in my opinion, PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS TO ARTY,!!  I really don't like this arty idea wargaming, please don't do it.

Yeah, arty is still freaking annoying. RIP any tank with a lot of dispersion.

there is something i'd like to ask:

as an owner of a WZ-132, i see that i did not get the tier 9, am not sure if it is only on the test server, did you guys that own other light tanks get the next one?

I know that WG as a company doesn't like to touch premium tanks, but it is not in the game's interest to keep the most broken artillery piece even more broken when these changes happen. The high tier premium lights are now going to be too strong against the tanks that they will now be regularly facing. Even though I own the leFH and several premium scouts, I think WG needs to change these vehicles so the game doesn't become even more imbalanced than it already is.

 

there are what, 2 or three prem arty, none of which are past tier 5, and the only "broken" one is almost never sold and is one of the least played arty on the server. It would be a waste of time to rebalance a tank.

all these idiots were the ones complaining about how stupid arty is, now that they did something now they still complain WTH DO YOU WANT??????. Well there's people that like it and if you don't like it don't play the game, easy as that. They did it so that tanks like the Type 4&5 Maus E100 Jg E100 have a chance to actually move without getting blown to hell by the T92 and so people like you can stop complaining on the forums about how bad arty players are with their one shots.
