Well, you don't get compensation for a reward tank that you don't currently own. That's on you if you sold it prior to winning a new one.

Can you clarify just when and were the code was "released"? I was watching the stream, and keeping an eye on the chat panel, but didn't notice anything. I then saw numerous posts in chat saying what the final code was, and I was dubious. So, of course, I missed the top 5%, and yet again, missed out on a Type 59 that I've been trying to get for four years.

x.

The codes all appeared on the broadcast screen on the WG website.  It was not posted anywhere else on the website (like the chat), or Twitch.  It was a small graphic that appeared at the bottom of the screen throughout the broadcast of random matches for all the remaining codes.  They all looked like this:

Why'd I spend a minute checking that my answers were correct........I saw code 8 as soon as it appeared but had to be anal and check the others that I'd put in....  I guess I'll know for next time.

they were busy typing it in themselves first and then posting it to everyone else
even giving it to a friend requires a few seconds to type send and that person receiving it and retyping it in and sending so while it may seem fast its really not

I also know that someone posted the code list in the forums of all the codes and had 2 of them backwards..Because I posted the list to my ally chat and someone pointed it out to me and I checked it against my original list on paper and they were right - 2 were listed backwards...so that would count as a dis-qualifier too

People who think they entered it earlier, probably dont run 2 monitors, one with the form open with all the right answers plugged in and triple checked. Have the cursor ready to type the 8th code, and actually have a decent WPM and plan to click the Submit. Please stop being so salty for your own lack of preparation. I laughed at the first guy to type into chat, i had submitted probably 8-10 seconds before the first chat box claim to first.

it happened like i thought it would

unicums and people that already had the tank got it and us normies got shafted

While I did not get a Hype 59....I did manage to get the FCM 50 T, so just goes to show it was impartial and fair to all....I never typically win things in these contests and I am below average...

This type of 'contest' without transparency violates many, many US rules, especially where players paying 'fees' are involved.     Seems as if a class action suit is in order since the contest is presented as being fair but in reality is based on internet speed, typing speed and of course the whim of WOT sub-employees...( this is how WOT skirts around US laws).........they, meaning WOT,  a RUSSIA based outfit will just shut the system down without warning to avoid US jurisdiction.

Do you need a list of lawyers for hire? This is why we can not have nice things. With all this complaining and accusing people for rigging. There will be no more contests. I hope that makes some of you happy.

I put the code in while it was on the screen and ended up with the FCM 50t.

Not sure how anyone could "plan" if they entered first or not.

Thanks Yoot for posting the times.  I suspect you are answering a lot of emails like 'I posted in xx seconds, I should have gotten yy prize'.

I know a lot of folks appreciate what you are doing, posting and answering, even folks that didn't win appreciate that you are being open about this.

What US Rules?

What Fees?

I dare you to try and find a Lawyer that would even bother taking that case.

Thanks for the prizes Yoott. :)

It was an interesting contest that encouraged players like me to watch something we wouldn't otherwise watch. I learned some things and was pleasantly surprised at the content. No Type 59 for me but I did get gold compensation for the FCM 50T. I'm very happy with the outcome.

-Cheers
