Bruh, I live in middle of nowhere Michigan in a tiny *** town, and i got a Type 59. My ISP is ATT U-Verse, so I was surprised.
Think I was within 3 seconds of the code appearing

Wow! Did not expect that I was in the top 5 percent. Thanks WG for my new Type 59!
I really liked that this season the rewards were tiered by percentages instead of raw number of submissions. Keep up the good work WG, and good luck to both Elevate and eClipse as they head to Russia.

Here are some positive things about the event:
The event was designed in such a way that everyone had a chance to participate and compete for top prizes. I feel like this event had more participation than past events have, which is good for the game.
The prizing by % of entries is good because it really gives people an incentive to take part, and the more people who participate the bigger the prize pool will be.
The prizes were awesome this time around, and a lot of people won. Almost 1600 players won tanks from the event. Word of 20% of participants winning one of the big three prizes will increase event participation the next time (and I think it will probably offset the few folks who didn't win and threatened to boycott ...because I know many of them have the gambling bug and will try again ).

Yoott said that the code popped up using the website UI not twitch so the stream lag had nothing to do with it. You had to be under 5 seconds to get a type... It took me about 2 seconds and I got one so I assume its fairly accurate.

Did not get any thing.
Also no email.
What's wrong with it?
Posted Apr 20 2017 - 20:25
Definitely this. I know I typed in and entered the last code within 5 seconds of it appearing in the broadcast. Yet I ended up in the 31%-50% group whose first submission according to yootl's chart was 43 seconds (yes, 43 freaking seconds!!!) after the first submission for the top 5% group. Seems like this form of contest just boils down to a crap shoot influenced by your path through the interweb tubes. I appreciate the free stuff I did get but after all the time I spent watching the stream (which really wasn't that entertaining) thinking I had a shot at one of the tanks I think I'll skip any of these "how fast is your internet connection" **contests** henceforth. For me, the time and effort invested wasn't worth the outcome.

I'm even more pleased with my VK 4503 now that I found this!

She ought to earn near as much as a Tier 8 premium does.

"Congrats on being in the 21% - 30% prize group for the WGLNA Scavenger Hunt"
The only thing that would have been nice to see in the email received would have been a link to the prize listings. Perhaps that could be done in the next similar event.

I do not think it is anyone's failure in most cases. It's the utter frustration of sitting through the prolonged event, doing the exact same thing as everyone else (getting your codes in very quickly) and not getting one of the top prizes (most likely do to your internet). Oh...and then having to see others post about their victory rubs a wee bit of salt in. The fact is many did not "fail" to do anything. I would bet many of the "failures" typed in their codes faster than some of the winners.
I guess if many knew (including me) the deck was stacked against them in the beginning, they would have not sat through the final broadcast.
They could have waited for the codes to be posted in a forum, entered them and received the exact same prize.
