If I am bad at the T67, should I skip the Hellcat?

I love the hellcat. Even after the nerf, its still a great tank once you get crew built up.

:B Sorry, but how can anyone be bad in the T67? That TD is outstanding.

If you suck in the T67 you might want to go play something more to your liking, maybe a KV-1 or OI.

Easy.  They don't really understand vision mechanics, don't have a well trained crew, and don't understand vision mechanics.  It's super fragile and the turret traverse is awful, so if you are spotted and don't have a good sense of map positioning its KO time for the T67.

I got it within a week of starting the game, played 100 games in it, hated it, got almost all the way to the T28 Proto, said "F this noise," went back to the T67, and have been in love with it since.  It's a tank that has a really high skill ceiling but if you don't know how to play the game it will punish you.

T67 takes a brain with the capability to understand camo/viewrange mechanics, same as the Hellcat, if you can't do that then don't bother...

I agree with everything you said except for turret traverse.  It's WAYYY snappier than it's higher tier cousins.  Camo, bush mechanics, and crew skills are utmost.  Then knowing how to frequently relocate.

Yes, at least for now, until you understand the vision & spotting mechanics of the game better.

Once you become well versed in the game mechanics you will enjoy both the T67 and the Hellcat a lot more.

Played T67, with new crews lel, like 9 battles then sold it. So I was thinking of trying the Hellcat that I unlocked via the Wolverine route.

I mean if you like having a fast chassis with a 90mm that likes to derp full aimed shots outside of center away from your target even though you have VERY limited ammo be my guest...

Plays similarly as the Type 64?

I like the T67 and it is one of my keepers. The gun is good and the speed and acceleration of the tank is amazing. The tank is a hot rod. Yeah, the turret and track traverses are anemic and reverse is slow. Play around the limitations and the tank is one of the more enjoyable in the game.

I did not like the Hellcat. Read the Wiki on the tank. The acceleration is slow. Turret and track traverse are nothing special. The 90 mm is decent but the rof is slow. The lack of armor is typical of TDs. I sold the Hellcat and promoted the crew to the T28 Proto. I have the T30 and have researched the T110E4.

I really like the T67 but found the Hellcat to be meh. I hear the Hellcat used to be amazing.

Good luck!

I played my T67 Like a punchy scout with good mobility and ability to relocate.

Be that as it may, it's slower than a lot of people are used to.  The higher tanks in the line turn into slugs and drove me crazy - hence dropping back a few tiers.

No chance you'd have a good run with a bad crew and 9 games, but the Hellcat is like the T67 except less mobile, slower shooting, heavier hitting, and higher tiered.  I liked the Hellcat, but as a predominantly light driver the T67 made the most sense.

If you're bad in the T67 why not get better?

I had a 42% Wr in my T67 when I played it originally.

Don't give up if you can't use it well. Learn to use it well.

My only issue with the T67 is the turret traverse.. 18.77 degrees a second. That said... it ROCKS. I sucked badly with both the T67 and Hellcat. Like someone else I sold both and moved on. Repurchased both fairly recently and both are now keepers, finally bought the Wolverine as well. Honestly all the Tier5/6 turreted TD's are a blast. Jackson, Hellcat, Achilles, T67, and Wolverine.
