My chosen answer is 3 (a.k.a. 1 and 2), and Q2 A1, but I'm here to see what you think.

What OP tanks are you referring to?

Some players do not share the same views as others regarding what are unbalanced and balanced tanks

(what I think you refer to as OP)

OP is a debatable thing... that is part of the problem, what is hard for some to kill may be easy for others.

Heres an idea.

Now stay with me here.

Instead of crying about tanks that are perceived incorrectly to be OP.

You instead do your research and figure out the best way to counter them instead of being just another muppet drinking the kool-aid and reading the same script =\

Just a thought.   :bajan:

Some needs nerfs, some needs to be removed from game as if never existed, lol. Really, i'm not against some fantasy stuff, but at least bring them with some kind of balance or basic design logic

Everything loses health when you shoot it in the bum, just saying.

Adjust the game mechanics with respect to actual vehicle capabilities. This balance stuff is pure bulls--t. If you want to use a Cromwell, great, enjoy it, but don't whine because you can't penetrate the armor on a Tiger and it cleans your clock. The same goes for the Sherman and T34. This garbage with balance is nothing more than the soccer mom crap about making sure everyone goes home with a trophy. In addition to that same thought thread, too many of the medium tanks and almost all of the light tanks have mechanics that are pure fantasy. For example, the M41 Bulldog mechanics are a joke. Having been in an M41, I can assure you that its capabilities in WoT are pure fantasy. For another good example, the same holds true for the T54. Having personally been in and around a T54, I can honestly say that thing is a piece of junk from its armor to its gun. A Leopard 1, M60A3 or Centurion were easily capable of knocking that trash out with a single round. The Russian owners of Wargaming just don't want to admit that their medium tanks were pure junk until the advent of the T62.

  1. " It's a game, nobody cares, I'm here for fun
  2. All vehicles should have been used on the battlefield before in WoT"

Top notch 'choices' you got there.

Maybe there are people who recognize it's a game, want tanks to be as realistic as reasonably possible and also want experimental/blue print tanks with realistic parameters to be in the game?

Seriously screw your historical accuracy poll.  It's polarized and totally lacking of any nuance.  It's not black and white, there is a grey area.

Tanks that existed should have their historical parameters, with some room for balance changes (The Tiger I's long 8,8 for example).  Things like rate of fire can be tweaked for example, but armor values for example are concrete and shouldn't change.

Tanks that didn't exist should have the parameters their blue prints or concept call for.

It's not as simple as

"hur dur I don't care about historical accuracy it's a game derp"

vs

"I say ol chap, that long 8,8 from the tiger II was never mounted on the Tiger 1 and ought to be removed outright, what say you ol boy?"

The third school of thought would be "I mean yeah the Tiger I never had the long 8,8 but it was available, and for balance reasons I can understand why it should have that gun, seems reasonable to me."

Please change your poll and maybe I'll vote in it.
