Hey,

I recently re-downloaded WoT and WoWs after having a new harddrive installed. Download went fine and the launcher also works, but when I try to start either game it goes extremely slowly. First it doesn't look like it is doing anything at all, but trying to open the game again during this process yields an error message saying:"Warning. Application "[name]" is started." Then a black screen appears, which lasts about 1-3 hours, followed by the login screen. Logging in takes about 1-2 hours, after which I do get to the garage. I've tried playing a battle, and it manages to load up until actually entering the fight, when it lags out, using around 100% of CPU until eventually quitting to the login page. Note that during this time my other programs are not affected. I've uninstalling and re-installing the game, but the same thing happens.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

I am running Sierra 10.12.3

Please provide your hardware specifications and whether you are connecting to the Internet via wireless or wired.

What type of [new] hard drive was installed - e.g. 7200 RPM HHD, SSD?

Hardware specs:

Mid 2012 Macbook Pro

2.9 GhZ intel core i7 processor

16GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Memory

Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536MB

[new] 500 GB SATA disk solid state hybrid harddrive

Connecting to the internet wirelessly

I've played the game on this laptop before, and although it was never the spriteliest machine it did always work.

Ok, the issue has resolved itself. I was getting a bit suspicious because War Thunder was also having a similar problem but not quite, and by looking up the issue I was having with WarThunder it was suggested to me that I needed to upgrade my graphics card software. After installing an iOS update it seems to have all sorted itself out. Thanks to everyone who took a look at this.

So others might find your trials and tribulations helpful ... updating to macOS [OS X 10.12.4] seemed to correct the issue - correct?

Also what version of the wrapper are you running - IIRC it is 2.0.3 - would you please provide the version number?

Glad to hear that it seems all sorted now ...

So, Mac Wrapper 2.0.3 for both World of Tanks, World of Warships and War Thunder port experienced extremely slow loading times, and disconnects upon joining battles.

Problem solved by updating from Sierra 10.12.3 to Sierra 10.12.4
