So i got a thought for Frontline mode and how to open it up for other tiers. I know right now Frontline is only open for tier 10 but not everyone has tier 10 and even so I'm sure a few players out there doesn't run their tier 10's on a normal basis.

My idea is a rotating selection system. Set it up where MM pick what the top tier is for the match like random battles now. From there the player selects his new tank after his first is destroyed on a rotation by tier. Please let me explain deeper because I'm sure it sounds odd right now. Say MM decides that the top tier is going to be 7 for the match. So I start off in a tier 7 but after I die, I have to select a new tank either tier 5 or 6. I tank a tier 5 and after I die, I must select a tier 6. Now once I die again, I can select a tier 7. Now once I die again, I go back to select a tier 5 or 6 and so on.

Now it would be a little different but the same if say I started as a tier 6 in a tier 7 Frontline match. After my first tank, I could choose a tier 5 or 7 as my next tank. I would also think the lowest to go for Frontline MM would be tier 5 as the top tier for the MM. So that would make for a tier 3, 4, or 5 match.

Now say a player doesn't have a specific tier tank for that match. Maybe it's a tier 5 match and they don't have a tier 4 to play. We they would get stuck playing two tier 3's before returning to tier 5. I know a great number of player who are really looking at the frontline mode but they don't have tier 10 or just don't like the idea of tier 10 only for the matches. I also think this would increase the scope of player in the community that would play the Frontline mode.

Wouldnt Work. Reason for Tier 10s is the Skill Required for it. Generally speaking people that have a tier 10 CAN find their [edited]in the dark without the aid of a flashlight and a map.

Otherwise they may as well just turn Random battles into 30v30

Ha! I'd like to see tier 10's with that kind of skill. I see just as many full [edited]at tier 10 as at tier 2. Okay maybe not just as many but still a larger number than I would expect.

No. It should stay tier 10 only. What other "end game" content is there?

Tier VIII, for example, would be more economical, but I think that making us spend the credits is part of the plan.

The idiot ratio is about 85% at tier 2, but it declines slowly and is around 50% in tier 10. Still very disappointing.

don't know how you assume just because you have invested enough time to get a tier 10 that you magically have superior knowledge and or skill on how to play. You can get T10 tanks just by repetitive play and not even winning.

This is more of a conversation for the sandbox server forum.

I could see it being restricted to tier 8 through 10.  If they allow multiple tiers maybe they should only have single tier battles.  The view ranges and DPM of tier 10 tanks woudl make it rough for tier 8 tanks to compete.  Also, it woudl be interesting to have a mode where there is one tier only in battle.  With tier 9 being one of the most balanced tiers int he game I'd enjoy seeing a tier 10 only mode, tier 9 only mode and tier 8 only mode.

Of course the economics behind the game mode in its current sandbox form need some adjustment.  Most players woudl be losing credits playing that mode.

I understand the need for all Tier 10 for testing purposes.  Later it would be nice if it would be moved to include other tiers as well.

You act as if tier 10 players have "skill", if they did there wouldn't be 50%ers and under at tier 10.

Indeed. I'd like to see a map for The Battle of the Bulge and Kursk, of course you can't really redo battles like this without the right vehicles. Besides I want to see 30 vs 30 Togs :)

You mean tournaments and clan events that are tier 10? Just saying.

This is not a WoW or Elder Scroll game. It's a shooter ffs.  There is no such thing called 'end game' beside clam wars.

Why do we always need everything for Tier X ?  That tier sucks enough as it is, why funnel people there when tier 7-8-9 are WAY better and funnier tiers, but mostly, those tiers respect what the game is.  Tier X is unbalanced and doesn't reflect anything the previous 9 tiers offer in terms of game play and fun.

So yes, it should be open to tier 6 and up imo.
