I think there are spotting bugs on frontline.

there is a proper way to test it.

have the enemy team placed in locations on the map where you think they should not be spotted.

write a bot that drives around the map (in a systematic fashion, meaning covering every inch), and records whenever it spots a tank. if the enemy is properly hidden, it should only spot the enemy when it is within proximity spotting range or otherwise somewhat close.

I know from playing that I am being spotted when I am sufficiently hidden. there are places on the map which are completely covered by bushes without gaps, and I am being spotted by tanks far away.  however the replay system is not working 100%, and the only way to properly verify this is to do so in a training room, which does not exist yet for frontline.

Whether he knows the mechanics I'm not sure but there are issues on the sandbox for sure. Many bushes simply do not provide camouflage. This has been an issue in the past on certain maps in game. I'm sure they will fix it before it is released.

This is his 4th or 5th thread about how broken the spotting mechanics are.. Oh but don't argue with him, he was once ranked 2nd in spotting on the server. He's a gud player who knows the spotting mechanics better than anyone else. /sarcasm

Where are they Sangu? I've always found holes in the ones I get spotted through...

In his thread about Rampage and now Frontline failing that he posted tonight, he said, quote " I was a great player " (in Rampage).

first, I have the replay but it is too big to send to wotreplays.com

second, I will record an example of the spotting bug when I want to

third, my bug report is for the developers and not players

fourth, any day, any time, any tank, I will beat you 1 on 1 and kill you and you won't even spot me. that is how good I am, that is why I made it to #2 for spotting on the NA server playing only 3 days a week and you didn't

look at any tank in my garage and compare it to your equal tank and I probably do double the spotting you do.

14,951 damage in 1 game makes me a good player

my best game I did 10,469 spotting damage. what is your highest spotting damage? thanks

I have 105 patrol duty medals, and 160 scout medals. how many do you have?

there is a reason why my average tanks spotted per game is double yours (2 vs 1.13)

yes, and they fixed the spotting bug after I gave detailed reports and made videos on youtube that clearly showed the spotting bug, and after hundreds of people also reported the spotting bug on the RU, EU, and NA forums.

the spotting bug, as confirmed by wargming, was caused by delaying the loading of tank models. now, tank models are loaded before the game starts, which fixed the problem. in addition, they optimized the spotting mechanics to make it work better.

your welcome

Oh so now you think that spotting is important. You see, you seem to not realize that very few people play this game to spot tanks.. I play this game to shoot tanks which is why my recent WN8 is TRIPLE yours. You can 1v1 me any time, I can assure you, you will not remain unspotted and you will lose. :D

Okay

IS-7

M40/M43

I outspot you in both of those! Idk what kind of accomplishment that is but at least it makes your statement untrue. :D

you said: "You can 1v1 me any time, I can assure you, you will not remain unspotted and you will lose."

only ignorant people think that WN8 is an accurate measure of player ability. WN8 does not track spotting, and I primarily do spotting.

WN8 is weighted in favor of high damage in higher tiers and more kills in lower tiers. WN8 is easy to game, and many people do so.

second, people living in south America, like myself, who play with 200ms to 500ms ping times on a daily basis and constant lost packets do not care about stats or WN8. I never play with less than 200ms ping time.

third, you would never ever beat me one on one because I would kill you in any tank you drive before you ever spot me.

that is why I have about 250 spotting medals and you have about 10. that is why I am a first class popel's medal and you are second class. that is why I spot double on average the number of tanks you spot.

note in my signature "Your best position in hall  of fame (spotting) is 2". what is yours?

FYI the guy who had the number 1 spot only played tier 2 tanks.

You appear to be triggered. Your spotting won't do much in a 1v1 friend. There's only so many bushes you can be in ya know. Trust me, I'd definitely know where you were. All things considered, I really wish you were on my team when I played arty. That'd be great tbh.. :bush::arta:

LOL he can't even "1v1" on the forums.

He reported me in his duplicate thread (for reasons unknown), and ended up with his thread locked.

Genius.

He apparently doesn't understand that his "best hall of fame position" is not 2nd globally.  It is showing his friends, hahahahahahaha

edit:  I don't see spotted vehicles as a hall of fame category, something's fishy
