People complaining about the 4502A aren't doing it right.

So, why don't you tell everyone exactly what "doing it right" entails?

This is a battle I had the other day in the Aus A.  The quality is really bad this is the first time I ever uploaded to youtube.  I really enjoy this tank as of right now it has my highest kills/exp in a single battle and it also has my highest avg exp per battle.

Play better.

But really.  Dont fight head to head.  This things a great sniper (for the gun it has).  Hits fast.  Can get into position easily.  Loves demolishing mediums its tier and lower, destroys anything lower tier.

Be paitent.
Pick your fights.
Hit the sides..

profit.

Quick video I slapped together doing it right.

Two fights.

I've generally found that it does a really good job of going down medium routes and slapping mediums silly. The best comparison to it in terms of speed and armor is the Type 59 and it has way more armor and gun. It's a really situational tank that's always got something really useful to do, but beating up on mediums is always a good call, and it can move almost as well as a Type.

I recommend people try the 4502 A, it's one of those tanks with just the right blend of maneuverability, armor, gun and speed that does brilliantly. I averaged 1024 xp a round going through it with a 65%  win rate with a lot of solo pubbing. The stats I've gotten in it are just tremendous, and that's because the tank's awesome.

The sole purpose of the 4502A is to eat Type 59s - if you send in 500 commander's hatches you get a 4502P!

Pretty much this.  If this thing had the tiger ii's gun or the is3's... it would be blatently KV like overpowered.  Sadly i havnt cracked 1k exp a round on it :(  mostly from being lolbad at tanks.

Loved my 4502 A, and like Skraeling, i had the avg xp per battle in it up above 1k/battle, now it's just under that at ~980/battle.  I survived more than half the time, with nearly the same with win ratio.  Love this tank, if i didn't have a type 59, i'dve kept it to run as a med.  Just the 'right' amount of bouncability on the front, with enough 'oomph' to get going at topspeed quickly.  TIP: Use the 88 L71.  ammo's cheaper, pens better, and fires much faster.  At this tier that 3 pen difference makes a difference in hitting an IS3 and bouncing, or hitting and killing said tank.  That 88 also pens an is4 fairly easy, check this battle out in my 4502 B with the 88 L71.  I've also had multiple 1000+ xp losses in my 4502 A, each resulting in a (or near, 4+ usually) top gun for me.  That 88 fires every ~7 seconds on both the 4502 tanks.

Can't check my statistics, but I played nearly 300 battles in mine, it was a common sight and an enjoyable tank, I didn't keep it because I wanted my VK4502P more.

This is by far my most favorite tank, fast very nice ROF  (comparable to the long 88) and very nice damage for it's tier. a round every 8.3 iirc compared to the 88/l71 7.5 or so i got.

Tbh i find my self playing it like a panther 2 but a little more aggressively, can't go head on to other tanks but makes for a great flanking/support tank, frankly if you need the long 105 your not playing the tank right.

p.s love the speed for a heavy :3
