I think you missed my point, not that it matters, since it's such a minor statement. I meant that I was glad I already have my B, because it means I never have to touch the A.

Well, I also have the Ausf B researched, but I MUST play the Ausf A. It is really incredibly fun. You won't regret it if you drive it.

Cool thanks, always good to get an idea what I am getting myself into.

Np, I already use this tank in 219 battles and its my 4th most used tank which is funny imo. Just remember that your armor isnt the greatest and try not to get in a brawl against tanks that you know you cannot pent their frontal. If possible, go around them and  attack them from the side or rear. Also, use your speed to your advantage to get out of a sticky situation. Another thing, aim carefully or your going be blowing away 1,030 credits very quickly.

See about twice these days, once in Karilia in our team. However since I always go north of this map and he went south, so I am not sure about the performs.
Another was in Red Shire, enemy team. I was driving my Pz IV for credit, so I went on the hill to snipe (You know in a Tier 8 battle Pz IV is such a tiny can). Suddenly I noticed on the small map there is a heavy near our base, so I turned around and found it was a 4502A. All the thing I could do was just make a shoot and run away. To my surprise, 75L70 made critical hit and damaged him. So in my opinion this tank really has a bad armor. As a KT driver, always ignore Pz IV in right front of me unless there is nothing else.

I've only seen one that I noticed, killed it, then noticed exactly what it was.  Ferdinand (first gun), penned it 4 straight times at long range.  He didn't pen me.  I got 2 wacked by an IS-7 and arty shortly after.

Stock turret seems to suit its style better than the upgrade one.

Yeah, if the upgrade one is VK4502P standardturm, it would be nice.

I like mine. It takes a great deal of skill to use efficiently though. First serious problem is the gun selection, the long 88 and short 105 at tier 8 have problems. The 88 gives you a very slight penetration boost for garbage damage. The 105 has penetration issues. I can deal with the 105 and use it, I smash weak spots with it under most circumstances. T10's? If I can't flank them I avoid them mostly, HE spam as a fall back.

Now, the other serious issue. The frontal armor bounces a great deal less than the Lowe from my experiences. It also has an overly large MG ball on the hull. With the second turret you can actually hull down a bit on occasion, the first one is made of angled butter.

The speed is great, acceleration okay and the HP pool is par for the course. I don't think giving it the long 105 would make it OP. The IS-3 and T32 don't have issues penning it usually, and the KT will still have its armor advantage.

Just got mine today, it's definately a fun machine, even if its performance stock is a bit lackluster, as is usually the case. Working on upgrading the tracks, because after mounting the long 88 (which you kinda have to do at Tier 8, the L/56 is a sad joke even at Tier 7 for heavies) and second engine, it can't mount anything else. :P No, I'm not exaggerating; there's no weight left over for equipment like rammers or gun laying drives; hell, it can't even mount an upgraded radio. It's actually kinda part of the thing's charm.

This thing might be a tad better if its reload speed with the "short" 105 was better than the KTs short, but its actually less. Its pretty much all mobility your getting, nothing else.

How is the reload speed less than the KT when their both the same reload speed?

I only needed to kill the vk4502a  then i would get master tanker, it took 2 days to find a single person driving one and i loaded gold rounds and hauled butt to him lol in my t95 by the time i got to him an e100 was blocking my way to him so i took him out then there he was. Bam! Hit him he exploded my heart was racing. Got master tanker but yea they are really few and far between. Squishy too.

I faced one with my T-34/100 yesterday.  I nearly killed it one-on-one with my 100mm D10T, just circling around him, getting out of the way of his turret, until one of his buddies finally did kill my tank.

Finally got mine, it's vulnerable and without the track upgrade it cant mount the 105. You have to settle for the long 88, and final engine, if you have it. You can't even mount the radio once you've got those two on.

"fun" is the word everyone uses, and its true, its fun to drive. It's like a more maneuverable IS-3 that's easier to hit with a low alpha, high RoF gun.

As such, play it like a medium, ie, tactically. You're not going to be getting many Steel Walls on this thing. Flank, use cover, retreat when necessary.

Update: Got 6 kills with it, still using the mere long 88 w/o rammer etc. The trick is that this tank can go 15 kph in reverse instead of 10, and so can pull you out of difficult situations. I pulled a E-75 into our arty, and outmaneuvered flanking mediums. Furthermore the hull, properly angled, is great against inferior tier guns, especially since none of them know to aim for the 100mm stock turret.
