Today we launched patch 0.9.18 and we want to hear your feedback! There are separate topics for major 0.9.18 changes, please leave all feedback for Reusable Consumable changes in this thread. 

  • How often do you use consumables in a match?
  • How does the consumable changes impact overall match strategy and tactics?

really nice addition to the game...I see no downside although 90 secs seems a tad long considering how short most battles are

pretty sure there was an equal amount of HATE from those that knocked out your engine each one of those times.

 

remember your experience is not universal

 

personally I think the reusable consumables makes it more like Mario Tanks than anything else.

Reusable consumables are amazing but there's a typo in the patch notes. All of the consumables come back after 90 seconds not 60. 90 is perfect because 60 is a bit too much pay to win.

Its not the consumable repair kits , its the fact that you are stunned repeatedly and so they become useless

No. You can use it several times and it still only charges you once like it always has. 90 sec for it to recharge.

The changes to consumables is the best change to the current patch, it provides an interesting balance of allowing players to eventually recover from multiple crew/modules being knocked out and thus being able to have an influence on the later stages of the game while still allowing players to be aggressive against the victims with module/crew damage at opportune moments.

I find that reusable consumables are a detriment to the game.

Great improvement.  Like it. Now I won't have to suffer a whole game at TOG speed with a bad engine because I had to repair my tracks first.

Seems like a good change. Just like WOT Blitz, which I've played a lot of. I am now less likely to dither about fixing my tracks when hit, which is good since that has been a bad habit for me.

I think single use adds more to the game. It gives you a meaning full decision and time to use them. But I understand the good side of reusable as well just personally prefer the way they were.

I use consumables so far average about twice per game.

 

I like being able to fix damaged engine knowing I can use it again later if needed.
