So after some time I can day I dont find he new rotation better
Encounter and assault seems to be not working
Kharkov and Stalingrad seems to be back in full rotation without any changes
Maps don't repeat but you still get similar maps in a row ( example Pilsen, Ensk, Paris )
Some maps seem to disappear still while most battles go on a small portion of the total number
So I don't find the new rotation better, actually without assault and encounter the map pool seems diminished ( Assault maps play completely different than normal so I can't really consider Karelia as the same map in standard and Assault​)
So although I like all the rest of the aspects of the patch I find map rotation lacking and needing more work as it is worse in my opinion

Map rotations are working excellent, no more 10 x sand river per day.

Where are all of the old maps? There used to be tons of different maps and seems like you only see 5 or 6 now. Is it just me or has cover for TD's all but evaporated? Help the TD's just a bit with some more cover and bring all the maps back. Greater map variation prevents players from getting easily comfortable with every map. It keeps everybody humble. Wargaming had mentioned something about map selection related to reducing your time waiting in the game queue, I never wait more than a few seconds in queue. I would rather wait a couple more seconds and get more variety in the maps. Some of the ones they shelved were really cool and fun to play!

Exactly.  I believe I read some place that they count them as one map.  I sure hope that isn't true...and if so they damn well better count the two Himmelsdorfs as the same and Ruinberg and WInterberg.

 

I came here to say that I've noticed that it seems the map rotation deal isn't working that great.  It seemed to the first day or two.  But today I literally got Airfield 2 matches in a row and I seem to get Tundra A LOT.  I've seen Firey/Prok one time in 3 days....and I played a TON today.

Update: Stalingrad 3 times today, Paris 4 times, Fisherman's Bay 4 times.  No Mines or Fire/Prok or Malinovka

I'm actually more unhappy about this than anything else.  I know, right?  I liked getting the maps over and over, honestly.  I vary my units frequently and I don't mind getting the same maps over for a little while.  I play Encounter, Assault and Standard, BECAUSE I stand a higher chance of repetitive maps.


 

This helps me to learn the maps in all my units and helps me to learn how to play all units on all types of terrain and maps.  Okay, I make lemonade from lemons, sue me.  Since the changes, I definitely have not seen the same map twice in a row (even when playing tiers 1-3 -- grinding two new lines and two new units in old lines where my Med became a LT and an LT became a Med, sheesh, make up your minds)


 

In truth, I don't mind the map rotation the way it is.  I do sort of miss my "In Battle Training Maps" when the rotation popped me into one or two maps over and again for about four or five matches.  I like all the new changes so far, for the most part.  Map rotation should make more people happier, so that's a good thing.

It is not too repetitive, but Malinovka and Prokhorovka are virtually absent.

 

Also, the ''Paris'' map has a serious field problem. Most of the time, the entire field/north remains a virtual stalemate throughout the game.

For tiers 2 - 5 still getting the same old, tattered, shop-worn maps.  Why can't ALL maps be randomly selected?

I seem to get Firey or Prok about once every 3 days...which sucks as I'm trying to get LT-15 for the Obj 260.  Got Prok this morning and did 4.2k spotting in a tier 7 match...not back but not close.  Malinovka I seem to get about once a day.

 

Paris - crap map.  Not enough opportunity to actually flank anyone as if you try to go mid to get to the sides you open yourself to way too many lanes of fire.  It's a death trap until late game.  My current favorite strat when in a well armored HT is to push the field as close to the buildings as possible.  I've done this in a Maus to great effect as well as when mid tier in a platoon of Defenders.  Really breaks up that stalemate.

I've never heard a single person state they like it, not one, and not any class of tank.  WAY too small and way to corridor forced.

The map rotation and reusable consumables are the ONLY good things about this update.  The reusable consumables really helps with countering the illegal weak-spot mods.

It's interesting.  I actually wonder now if WG is watching this post and making adjustments.  In the last few days I've actually been seeing FireyProk quite a bit.

 

That said I'm still not sold on the map rotation thing working as intended.  I've gotten the same map back to back and in 13 games today I've seen Stalingrad 3 times and Winter/Ruinberg 3 times.

WoT puts out 9.18 as some sort of betterments, but today that misrepresentation, to which seems to them a great insurmountable precipice upon a mountain, is all made out of a mere mole hill!

I don't know about you , but I'm still getting the same maps over and over . So why not change the program that takes a certain number of maps from your guys archive and group them up into group 1 through 6 on one day then the next day take the next group of maps 6 through 12 and so forth . There are quite a few maps over the years and people wouldn't be as so bored with the same maps day in and day out .

i know that this will be taken down by wargaming but the map rotation doesn't need fixed the need to make maps that are fun you know not maps with lanes but that's just want a normal player thinks not a unicum player also it wont be fixed buy adding the 30 vs 30 there is just going to be more tanks in lanes even with bigger maps they just don't know how to make maps good i understand that city maps can really be anything but lanes but fiery salient "open map" still has lanes!!!! just do away with arty and open up the maps!!!!

What I find amusing is if anything the map rotation has become worse since the patch. In the last 2 days I have seen Stalingrad as frequent as every other match for a hour of playing. The worst I have seen since the patch is Himelsdorf 5 matches in a row. The most I have seen in rotation for a day of playing is 4 maps, mostly the close quarter brawling maps where lights and most TDs are of not much use because there is no where to hide unless you just don't care and want to throw your tank's HP away to get that 1 shot off. I rarely ever see fiery salient or any of the open sniper maps any more and have only seen it once on my light tanks in the last 3 months.
