Attention Tankers!

 

There are plans to release Micropatch 0.9.18_1 on April 21, 2017

 

Maintenance will begin at 03:30 Pacific Time (10:30 UTC) and will last approximately one half hour.

 

During maintenance, the World of Tanks servers will be unavailable.

 

Patch notes:

• Fixed the issue where the account’s statistics were not properly updated in the Stronghold mode.
• Fixed the issue where the top gun could not be researched upon conversion for the WZ-131.
• Fixed the issue where the Ru 251 could not be researched and purchased.
• Fixed the issue where the player did not receive any refund for the removed permanent customization elements purchased before update 9.18.

I suppose they're still gathering data on the big changes... I'm really curious to see what will happen there. Would've been a good use of this notified downtime.

What about the fact that the new tier nines, if you had them previously and unlocked the next tank, were elited and you have to convert exp? are you going to refund that as well????

I believe (and hope) it fixed the Strongholds / Skirmish bug.

I discovered a bug yesterday and that bug is the marks of excellence for the HWK 12. I have gotten 2 Marks so far and they do not appear on the tank at all. I did not think that this was a major bug until i got the second MoE today and it still doesnt appear.

Hey thanks for the game crashing patch today.

 

Love that I jump into the battle after it starts, run 10 seconds and the game crashes to the desktop, then restarts and puts me back into the game seconds before I am taken out.....

 

 

Great job to the Engineers and programmers and any other idiot that worked on this.

 

Funny that it worked fine in all 4 iterations of the sandbox in on the test server yet when it goes live nothing but issues.

 

Maybe I will come back in a week to see if y'all fixed your goofs or not

Fine after 9.18, but after micropatch nothing but lag.

Will this also fix the issue of having to re-research the top engine on the RU 251, even though it had its pre-9.18 top engine researched and mounted?

Turn it on in settings..patch turned it off.

• Fixed the M41 Bulldog and AMX 1390 by returning their auto-loaders back to their former glory.
• Returned the SP1C's auto-loader and the VK2801's derp.
• Returned all stolen hit points to the VK16.02 Leopard.
• Returned the AMX ELC to it's former glory. Players can still mount the 75mm w/ full turret traverse.
• Increased all light tank view ranges back  to their original values.
• Increased top speeds of all light tanks that had their speeds neutered reduced back to their original top speeds.
• Returned the Crusader back to a light tank.
• Returned the penetration and damage values of all light tanks that had said values reduced back to their original values.
• Unerfed all tier 10 light tanks.
• Made scout/light tanks relevant and fun again.
• Gave all NA server players 2 weeks free premium time and 500,000 free xp for their pain and suffering.
• Put the Aufkl.Panther and T-50-2 back in the tech tree.

9.18 still won't load for me.  I don't see any stories about that sort of problems?  No news updates that explain it.  It's a totally isolated problem then?  Any simple settings on the computer that could be blocking it that never were an issue on any previous update? or is it time to submit a ticket - if the feed back I've seen so far doesn't convince me to leave it alone and quit playing?

Thanks for the info. This are proper patch notes. WG needs to be clear.

 

Can't believe those bugs, numbered 2 and 3, actually made it into the live version.

If a tank dies while they're stunned by arty, the timer still is visible once they're dead
