Are those rumors from a year ago true? I just recently learned about this.

I personally hope its not because of all the time I spent on wot.

What rumours ? do you have any links to earlier threads or anything that might have fuelled these earlier rumours because I know I,am getting older and a little more forgetful but I honestly don,t recall anything of any substance about a WOT 2

I barely recall it. I don't think it was anything official, but yeah there were rumors of a WoT 2. It would essentially be World of Modern Tanks. I didn't really pay much attention to it... as at the time I really enjoyed WoT's existing model (aside from arty) and wasn't really too interested in modern Tanks.

I recall hearing this when AW was a fairly new thing, and when it was speculated AW would be a threat to WoT (heh.) it could be that it was a rumor developed because of that- on the idea that WoT would need to respond to AW.

Yea it was a rumor, but an old one, from the days of FTR.

But with the unified account WG has, it wouldn't be so bad.

although it would split up alot of the player base and make getting battles on either harder.

The only thing I've heard considered being a "WoT 2.0" is AW's latest update, but I don't think that's really going anywhere.
