NOTE: XVM does not work fully in Grand Battles. Read this for more info.

Intro:

  • I update my XVM practically everyday, and have it up and ready almost immediately after every patch.
  • Since I have been sharing this with friends, as well as some players via forum PM, I thought I'd just share it with a wider audience, especially now that it is sufficiently distinct from the many other alternatives out there.
  • All constructive feedback is welcome! And do feel free to ask any XVM-related questions.

Download:

Please delete the session stats cache -- WOT\mods\configs\yk-stats\cache.json -- each time you update.

XVM Features:

  • Same color scale as on Wotlabs, except that I merged both greens into one
  • Full stats on battle loading / Tab screen: kilo-battles, WN8, winrate [pic]
  • Players panel:
    • Individual HP bars + Spotted markers [pic]
    • XVM-user indicator (on pressing Alt, except that XVM-arties are highlighted until they are spotted) [pic]
    • Simplified colors -- highlighting only the above-average and bot-like stats, for those alive
      • Lighter red + orange + yellow colors are only displayed on pressing Alt, or for self
    • Only Medium2 and Large panels are enabled
      • Tank names for Medium2 panel are colored by WN8 [pic]
      • Player and tank names for Large panel are colored by WN8 and winrate respectively [pic]
    • Excessively long names are truncated (full name displayed only on pressing Alt)
    • Vehicle type icons displayed on pressing Alt [pic]
  • Tank markers:
    • WN8 and winrate indicators to the left of health bar [pic] (simplified colors, as with players panel above)
    • XVM-user indicator (on pressing Alt)
    • Excessively long names are truncated (as with players panel above)
  • Minimap:
    • Minimap labels with improved legibility [pic]
    • Includes 50m proxy circle and TD/arty traverse limits [pic]
  • More battle interface features:
    • XVM's hitlog (expand on pressing Alt) [pic]
    • Damagelog & repair timers [pic]
    • Team HP comparison [pic]
  • 3-row carousel with stats:
    • All tanks display DPG over winrate at the bottom right corner [pic]
    • Selected tank additionally displays current MOE% over games played at mid-bottom, and is highlighted in gold
    • Displays amount of XP earned / left on the grind if a non-elite vehicle is selected [pic]
    • Displays vehicle ranks and chevrons gained when in ranked mode (or on pressing Alt if otherwise), provided that there is at least a chevron gained [pic]
    • Removed carousel text "Not suitable for the Platoon"
    • Default scale is at 85%; alternative 100% scale carousel available [instructions here]

Installation:

  • First, remove all content in WOT\mods\ and WOT\res_mods\
  • Copy ZIP\mods\ into WOT\mods\
  • Copy ZIP\res_mods\ into WOT\res_mods\
  • Activate XVM stats
    • Go to http://www.modxvm.com/en/ and login with your WG login (top right)
    • Click "Activate services" / "Prolong" in the menu at the top (you have to do this every 2 weeks)
    • Configure your "Settings" in the drop-down menu at the top right [my settings]
  • NB: You can choose to disable XVM stats, in which case stats-related items are not displayed in battle [settings + screenshots]

Session Stats Features:

  • Based on Dado_Ze's excellent work here
  • Minimal information presented
  • Same color scale as on Wotlabs, except that I merged both greens into one, and both reds into one
  • Hides various notifications (e.g. declined / expired invitations)
  • Abbreviates various text strings

Installation (if you downloaded the standalone version):

  • Copy ZIP\mods\ into WOT\mods\

This looks interesting and I have been wanting to get a modpack with these functions but I have a few questions.

1.  In your picture next to the tank icons they have either a green, red, or gray box with numbers in the red and green ones.  Are those numbers the hit points the tanks you have spotted have left?

2.  Is there anything in this modpack that could cause me to get a ban?

3.  Could this drop my frames per second?  Because currently in the vanilla client on minimum graphics settings I get about 25 fps and I don't want my fps to get any lower.

4.  Where it shows the Skorpion G and T28 Prot.  what do the two vertical lines next to their hitpoint boxes mean?

1. Yes.

2. No.

3. Yes, mods generally will drop your FPS. You can try it without the HP bars or have them show only upon pressing Alt (because otherwise they update often, hence taking up more resources); I can tell you which lines to make simple edits to.

4. First bar is WN8 color, 2nd is winrate color. T28 Prot's bars are white because they are in the red-to-yellow range, which I'm not interested in seeing.

One more question before I download.  Is there a way to disable any part of the modpack that I don't like or don't use to try to improve my fps?

For some reason no changes were made I do not see any of the icons while in a battle.  Is there a way to fix that?  Am I doing something wrong because I know I put the files in the right folders.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly.

If you see a 3-row carousel in your garage, then you put it in right.

If you see no stats, you need to activate the stats function of XVM. See here for instructions.

I have the mod folders in the res mod and mod folder but no changes were made to the game client.  I do not see a 3 row carousel in my garage.  I followed the directions you gave.  Is there anything else I need to do after I put the mods in the folders and activate the stats function?

I'm afraid that this means you didn't move the files into the correct folders.

Added session stats (separate download), which is based on Dado_Ze's excellent work here.
