Bison: Beast of a Tier 2

The Bison would be one hell of a beast if it had better armor, at least 20mm of armor, or could pivot faster. Other than that, it is an awesome SPG

The Bison's impressive power is compensated for by a utterly disgusting traverse. Unless your target is stationary or on a heading directly along your line of fire, you are going to spend a lot of time re-aiming.

It's certainly the most difficult of the Tier 2 arties to use, with all the light tanks buzzing around like flies. The traverse wouldn't be bad if the game was called World of Heavy tanks, but that's only true for high-tier arties.

Complete beast of arty. Average tanks that the Bison plays with have to 2-3 shot you, giving you enough time to aim carefully and shoot(unless you gotta do a 180 and aim).

I have no love for this beast, it should really have better armor a fast loader or turning speed because I one shot them all day in a Lenatactor for gods sake it's weak nothing more than a barn door to blast. Unless you have a great team that. Has scout support and some defense for this overpowered beast...it will blast tanks away ..I should know Ive been a Bison victim.

T57 is a better tank destroyer, and at tier 2, that counts for a hell of a lot. Sorry, but with the nature of tier 2 through 4 fights, I'd have to say that the T57's better armor, higher RoF, and better accuracy simply make it the superior SPG for the tier.

It only gets better in the Sturmpanzer II, I have 6 kills in a game twice now, and I haven't even played that many games in it.

After almost 60 battles with the Bison, I must say I like it alot. The only reason why I didn't do any better with it so far are noob teams and lacking artillery protection.
It has a great punch (have destroyed two light tanks at point blank range now, one hit one kill in both cases), but is severly limited by its slow traverse speed, slow aiming time and the need to aim for like 100 years to get an accurate hit. But once you get a direct hit with it, the target is either gone or severly damaged.
But when you get used to it and learn how to use it, it becomes a lethal weapen on the battlefield. You just have to learn how to find that combination between relocation and aiming.
