what "garbage" besides your gameplay are we talking about here?

Agreed with the balancing of teams based on skill as well. Kind of tired of being the only player above 50% on a team while the other team is full of platooned unicums. It happens way more often than it should. I have tanks I dont play because even though I play well enough to get marks of distinction in them, I get nothing but one direction tomato teams when playing them, and always facing teams of nothing but purples, blues and greens. Its disconcerting to see how off balance it is and Im sure is easily correctable.

Wargaming has never claimed that 9.18 is the end product for MM.
It was the beginning of a series of balance changes to MM.

They have to introduce the changes incrementally so they can tweak things as they go.

Excellent... because I was in a three tier game last night with 3 tier X SPGs per side

OMG, but are we all happy that North Korea hasn't been buffed or their tank force isn't as nice as ours or, or, doesn't their arty need a nerf..... geez....balancing everything out to the to the gnats *ss is just annoying and makes the unicom's all that much better.  SPG's...say "goodby".

Keep believing their BS.. In six the years this game has been 'live', WG is good at 1 thing, deception and more deception, 

I wish I could run a company based on deception and lie's while still turning a profit and keeping customers around for any period of time.

I know right? Most players dishing out under 100 damage in a battle have a player rating under 2500. 

 

This battle after the 9.18 patch is typical of what I experience both winning and losing:   shot_008.jpg

 

Wouldn't mind the tomato invasion if they could be evenly distributed among the teams.

 

Interestingly I'm getting better teamwork at tier 4 than tier 7, so I'm sticking with lower tiers for now.

Not too bad WG, but we will still get MT vs HT, why?

Why you can't make about the same +-1 amount of MT?

Are you going to fix arty issue?

We'll see on these continuing mm "improvements". The more rules and special exceptions you have to write the more you limit choice and variability, be careful what you ask for here people or you'll start seeing more limited line-ups not necessarily better matches.

Nice to see that WG is listening.

 

I'm still unsure about this arty "nerf" though. I seem to be seeing many more one shot kills than before. This is across all tiers. When they tried to fix the arty issue and added the "stun" effect, I was glad but, they also changed burst radius and accuracy so, lower tier SPGs are now a sumbeech to play against. It's forcing players to still hide from arty which is one of the things that WG was trying to end. I was under the impression, perhaps mistakenly, that the "stun" effects were going to be limited to any HE over 105mm fired by arty. I plan on playing my only 4 arty I have to check this out.

 

I too, was getting quite frustrated at the lop-sided HT vs HT in the randoms. Even if the top three were NOT HT, maybe just two, the middle tier (5 in the 3-5-7 algorithm) were ALL HT's. With maybe two or three in the 7 section.

 

Thumbs up to the possibility of WG perhaps taking experience into MM balancing. Win8, Efficiency or whatever. I'm not sure if this is even feasible.

 

I'm just an average player (according to Win8) with average stats but, it is disheartening to see in the pre-battle line-up all those below average players grouped up on one side or the other. It's a combination of that particular player's stats on that tank and their overall experience. That's one of the reasons why I don't think WG can do anything about MM with stats.

 

Just glad to see that the devs are following through with what they said. :)

Why were Mediums and Heavies left out of this.  particularly in the over powered premium tank tiers this is a huge issue. Not that a team of good players in mediums cannot eat up a team of bads in heavies. But given two teams of bads, the medium team is doomed. And two teams of bads is pretty much the template for 60% of battles.

The next thing for the improvement of WoT is the removal or serious nerfing of auto loading [edited]tanks. Every single one of them. They are the true cancer.

ive had a few games where one side had no arty and the other had a tier 9/10 arty
