I have a KV-220-2 and it performs very well. Pretty much every game I play in it I end up killing 3 enemies and doing over 1000 damage in a tier 5 match. It's probably the most overpowered tier 5 heavy tank in the game. I know it's fairly rare on this server but want are other peoples opinions on it, is it good where its at or does it need some changes made.

It tends to do well. Gun is weak but good enough. Armour is tough if people don't have a reasonable gun and know the turret is weaker than the hull.

Well I have almost 2700 games in mine so I guess I like it.  It's tough head on but not invincable so beware of who is shooting at you.  I would like to see a better gun and a little more speed but then no one it seems to be satisfied with any tank.  It has made me a 6 level crew and am now working on another almost to level 8 and does make me a lot of credits.  I'm a older player so it fits my play style a little better because it is slower and  a bit easier to control.  But then I also played over 1000 game in the Matilda BP and they both game me a decent win %.   Oh well my two cents worth and happy tanking

I think it benefits from being somewhat rare and at tier V a lot of people probably have no idea what it is. When I see one I always tell the team to shoot the turret in case they don't know. Some listen, some don't.

When I see them I'm generally in my T-67 so it's kind of like seeing a Tog on the other team. If you can get into position and stay unspotted it will be a good experience.

It's a good tank and you have to respect it, which often means retreating, but if it's out of position, you can take advantage of it. Two or more in a platoon are a totally different thing and does not bode well for the Red team.

The Churchill III is by far the better premium training value of the two but I doubt most 220 owners care about that and use it like a slightly grown up B2 for LOLs.

On my main it just collects dust and only comes out when I am desperate, its ok to me but the gun just sucks and doesn't interest me much. Fun when the other team is loaded with "dad players" with tomato stats as they will give me the easiest steel walls that make mid and high tier Japanese heavies envious. Against T67s with full apcr it just melts and with the high rof sky cancers at that tier it is a real turn off for me.

I like it but the entire turret is a weak spot, all it takes is one guy who knows this and your game is over. I would suggest you try Milky's skin for this tank https://modshop.milkym4n.com/. Visually it turns it into a KV-1 with the German KwK 40 mount

I've trained many crews through my KV-220, now the KV-220-2! Keep it moving and don't let them zero in on your turret! Shoot and scoot! The gun is a bit weak, so make sure you hit weak spots.

Technically speaking the turret is a weakspot, but it's still fairly armoured compared to its counterparts. I just load the gold and penetrate the turret every time. :P

I love my 2202, if for no other reason than you can kinda drive around like you're invincible at tier 5. Unless you get focused by arty, some M4 with the derp gun, or a TD that knows where to hit you, you can afford to take risks you wouldn't dare in other tanks. It's not invincible, and far from OP once people figure out where to hit it, but until that point...

My favorite thing to do is when you get someone who "yolo's" at you with their auto-aim turned on, and you can just keep shooting. With a rammer and a good crew, the reload on that gun makes your reload insanely good.

KV-200-2 is good but depends on the match making, in a tier 6 or 7 game it's an easy kill. Even in a tier 5 game most players just need to press the 2 key.

Some times I think WOT should change it's name to "Just Press the 2 Key"!

It's a great tank unless you're up against someone who knows to not shoot the hull. Thankfully fewer know that that don't.

It's one of the few tanks on my "...must play daily" list. It's one of my better Soviet trainers as a reasonable guarantee that I'll at least do my share every game out although in some tier 6 games the game is too fast for the tank and you trail the fight the whole game or get overwhelmed when they fail. Recently, I had a Radley's/Kolobanov's in this tank.

It really can be a bully tank on occasion and probably the main reason I like the tank - a heavy tank that plays like a heavy. The only downside is I use a lot of premium with the tier 4 gun as this tank still follows the original premium tank formula - premium tanks need premium ammo. So it's been well received here that some of the newer premiums are actually closer to their tech tree counterparts and capable without that caveat.

The model has also followed for every strength a weakness and I'm glad that mobility itself can be such a weakness that they will finally put good guns with good armor, here's to you VK100.01P. I've enjoyed Wargaming's latest premium offerings but what I really need is a Swartz Lowe,LOL.

I enjoy it.  Don't take it out as often as I should but not's not a terrible premium as long as you not spamming shots and actually take time to go for weak spots.

Got this in a christmas package. Unfortunately, I had to recruit the team ... anyway, what might have been true in days past is no longer true. Your tracks can get penned, even when angled, far far more often than you would think. Also, it seems everyone knows about the turret being a weak spot. AND, good luck trying to pen anything T6 - you do get pref MM however, the T6s you run into you cannot pen.

Might be a decent tank with a good crew or in the hands of someone who plays heavy tanks all the time ... but right now, you're toast more than you're the toaster.

I'm not really a fan...….I would rather play the KV-1 or 1s myself.

Just curious how this tank compares with the other KVs.

Was wondering myself, esp the other T5 KV tanks.

I also got this i my Christmas loot, and its mediocre. I put my crack ST 1 crew in it and I only average 299  damage before the gold spam and turret aimers killed me most time. Get use to lots of failed  to pen announcements. My KV 1 is still better (average 509) and even my Churchill III (average 422)  does better since it never sees Tier VII
