What do you think are the maps with the most potential with a little rework, or which maps did you enjoy the most which you'd love to see back in the game?

Pearl River. Liked it, never though it was boring or imbalanced....

I don't understand why people want these removed maps to return......they were deleted because they were bad maps, with poor balance and gameplay. In fact, WG needs to remove a lot of more that are as bad as these removed maps.

 

All of them, with an increase size, less corridors are potentially viable....Northwest is the closest to me..

Northwest was a great map, it just needs reworking of north-west campfest corner and it would be a lot nicer.

Think of how fun, challenging, and interesting that would be.  See how the new tanks fare in the old maps.  Never see the same map twice in a couple hours.  I firmly believe that more maps and map rotation requires more servers and that is simply overhead cost and loses WG monies.  Only explaination, given that maps are a big investment of programmer time, and to throw them out is quite drastic.

Dragon ridge and hidden village best eye candy for me it was really all about its ambiance. Would like to see more old/new maps to add variety to the map rotation. As said it would be interesting to see how these maps reworked would fare with the new vehicles.

Meanwhile current maps like Paris are screaming for help. 

 

 

Seriously. Paris is like the worst map ever. the north is really boring and the south is totally imbalanced.

Most of them weren't bad enough to remove except for a couple.   Bring them all back.

Agreed. And besides the imbalance LT's in general suffer in city/corridor genre unable to perform their roles. Making the maps a bit bigger in total size is also a good fix from the standard 1km to 2

or something similar IMO.

Ensk should be dropped to tier5/6 and below.  It is too small for high tiers.

 

Paris, Stalingrad, Himmelsdorf and Kharkov should be removed altogether.  These all city maps badly disadvantage Arty, light tanks and sniper TDs.

 

This crusade against defense, stealth and sniping, on all fronts, has to stop if the game is to survive. Although the vocal ADD minority want every game to be over  in 5 minutes or less, the more loyal, older player base like the slower, more suspenseful nature of the game from before.  Somehow Wargaming have to get it into their heads that they had a large niche market of dedicated customers providing them with something other FPS games did not have.  Now they are competing with all the rest and losing subscribers.

 

I really believe they did it to further eSports, but you can't be successful game and a successful eSport.   Perhaps they should consider different spotting rules and/or maps for the different modes of play?

Dragon Ridge without a doubt. The middle jungle would be hilarious given the current game physics.

And Province for sure, for tiers 5 or less maybe.  That one was always like a chess match to me and if you had the patience to not make it a zerg match, it could really produce some exciting matches.

The rework thing on removed or existing maps never gonna happen (and we all know that) and removing more maps...Really???

You want to play Himmelsdorf until you pass out all day....LMBO

I checked all of them. More maps = more variety, something this game is missing now.

Bring them all back, nine or more additional maps would be great. So what if they do no produce perfect "balance", life is not balanced WOT certainly does not have to be so.

 

Not so many incentives as before in WOT; my first month in WOT in 2013 I won 3000 gold from an arty challenge it was very encouraging in keeping me playing on in the way a special insignia never will.
